Wanda stood outside Y/n's door with a cup of coffee in her hands, she wasn't sure if last night she was talking to the real Y/n and if she even cared about the talk they had at all.

She didn't want to get herself attached to the guest, she was here for the money and that's it, she kept telling herself. She's not here to make friends, just the money.

Part of Wanda didn't want to believe that was true, she felt something with Y/n but she didn't know what it was. She just knew she enjoyed seeing her happy and when she got scarred of Wandas powers it hurt her more than a stranger on the street.

Before she could knock she heard noise coming from the other side of the door where Y/n had just exist the shower and changed her clothes.

Wanda knocked, her nerves building up just thinking about something she needed to be answered. Y/n opened the door then started walking around her room again.

"My daily coffee Ms. Maximoff?" she teased with a soft laugh.

Wanda stayed standing at the door awkwardly holding Y/n's coffee before clearing her throat, "Uh Yeah...Here you go."

Y/n looked over at Wanda and walked over grabbing the cup from her grip, their fingers grazed, even if it was a small and insignificant touch it was enough to make both of their breaths hitch quietly.

"That's very kind of you." Y/n dramatically thanked her turning around to place it on the desk in her room. "So tell me, am I your best guest yet?" she asked turning around half sitting and half standing on the desk.

"Well you're our only guest." Wanda said dropping her arms to her side hitting the side of her thigh just to get her point across.

Y/n nodded softly shrugging, "Well there's always a start for things." She was about to stand back up to continue digging through draws in her room when Wanda spoke up causing Y/n to stop and bring her attention back on the witch.

"C-can I ask you a question?" she stammered still standing at the door, only difference is that she was playing with the rings on her fingers nervously looking at Y/n waiting for a response.

Y/n didn't say anything right away, she looked at Wanda trying to read the room but she couldn't tell what was going on. "Depends." she joked shooting Wanda a smile but she was too deep in her thoughts to give one back.

She hesitantly took a step forward silently asking if she could enter the room, her eyes still locked on Y/n who nodded for her to come in the rest of the way.

Wanda exhaled deeply trying her best to relax her nerves as she took a seat on the side of Y/n's bed.

Y/n kept her gaze on the witch watching as she looked down at her hands, she looked upset, nervous, and Y/n didn't know what to do. "Wanda what's wrong?"

"Just hear me out," she said as she continued to mess with her rings. Y/n pulled her chair out from under the desk and sat down facing the Sokovian.

"Whenever you're ready." She said trying to make Wanda feel comfortable.

"Are you scared of my powers?" She asked bluntly, before Y/n could answer Wanda continued, "I'm sorry for messing with your head, truly. I-I didn't mean to show you what you saw, I was trying to read your mind. I know it's still wrong but," She paused taking a breath trying to get her thoughts together. Y/n stayed silent knowing that this was obviously something to wanted to get out, so she let her. "I just need you to know that. And yesterday when I was trying to help you, you backed away from me telling me to stitch you up regularly...I just don't want that to be all that you see."

When she finally finished Y/n took her time quietly examining Wandas features, her eyes, guilt written all over her face, even though a few days ago she found Wanda annoying those persecutions changed when they spent time together last night.

"What do you want me to see?" Y/n asked in a low voice.

Wanda looked down at her hands pulling a ring off then sliding it back on her finger, "For who I am, behind this energy flowing through me...I just want you to give me another chance, not a fake one where you tolerate me. The others here don't really do anything guest related and I know you'll be here a while, and I also know what it's like to be in a new environment-"

"You don't have to give me a speech Wanda." Y/n said cutting her off, "After that act you pulled you could use a second chance." Y/n stood up from her seat holding a hand out for Wanda to shake, slowly she took it. "Huh no shock."

Wanda continued looking at Y/n not sure as to why she couldn't look away but eventually all things come to an end and they both removed their hands from each other's grip.

"I'll go make breakfast." Wanda said earning a sound of fingers snapping from Y/n as she walked back over to her desk, her finger pointing in Wanda's direction as her gaze was on an open book that laid on the table,

"You know my order right?" She asked.

Wanda tilted her head slightly at Y/n's comment, "Sorry I don't take request." She snapped back.

"Well played." With that Wanda smiled to herself as she stood up and walked out the room.

Y/n watched as Wanda made her way down the hall smiling to herself at the thought of starting over with the the Sokovian. The thought of hearing her laugh, or that she'll be comfortable enough to be herself around Wanda filled her mind.

But rather quickly she whipped the smile of her face. 'You can not be thinking of this right now. Don't get attached, and no one gets hurt. This is a promise I need to make to myself.' She told herself moving her hand to grab the coffee Wanda had given her.

Y/n made a promise to herself, but unfortunately some promises get broken. Will it hurt someone in the process is the question.
