Bugged

Y/n's walk back to her apartment was slow, and the rain began to fall so she decided to use her speed to get there faster. She made her way to the doors and opened them while it started to rain harder. She dried herself off noticing Aaron wasn't at the front desk but caught a glimpse of the handwritten note.

"On a lunch break, I'll be back in 30." Her eyes scanned the paper humming in response as she headed up to her floor without conversation.

When she got to her room, she unlocked the door and walked in seeing the place she hasn't been in for almost a month. She closed her door locking it before sitting on the couch putting her hands over her face.

She was holding back her tears even if it was just her in the room then everything flew in different directions. She looked around and didn't bother picking up the mess she had just made as she got up making her way to her bedroom.

"Tony come on answer..." Wanda said hitting her hand against the table becoming impatient.

"Maximoff, you got something?" Tony answered from his car driving back home.

"Could you not? Y/n found the messages on my phone, and she left. She thinks I've been using her. I told you not to ask me." She argued annoyed.

"Ironic given I've received zero useful information from you."

"Tony!"

"Okay, do you know where she went?"

"Most likely back at her place." Tony didn't respond he put Wanda on speaker as he pulled over to text. "Tony, this is your sister we're talking about."

"I realize that."

Wanda shook her head in disbelief of Tony's lack of concern. "She said she loves Morgan. Think about that before you make the wrong decision." She said hanging up.

Tony sat in his car looking at his phone knowing he already made one. He contacted SHEILD telling them where to find her and the rest. He started his car again making his way to the compound.

Wanda paced around the meeting room debating whether or not she should look through the file that sat on the table. She was pulled from her thoughts when she heard a bang coming from the front door.

She walked out the meeting room seeing Tony looking around frantically till he saw Wanda. "What the hell are you doing here?" She asked.

"SHEILD is on their way for Y/n, I texted Nick." He said walking down to the end of the room. He opened up the back door making his way to his workshop. Wanda chased after him, once she was next to him she started talking again.

"Why did you even ask me to get information from her, it could've been you." She exclaimed.

"She probably made friends Maximoff, if she found out I was trying to destroy the building they all lived at I don't think she would've taken that well." He said casually, Wanda slowed down her walking thinking of the words Tony had used.

'The building they all lived at'- How does Tony know where they lived? "How do you know where the apartment building is?" She asked walking faster to catch up with him again.

"I don't know the exact location I just know the building. Anyways I didn't think you would have the guts to spy on my sister, so I bugged your phone." Wanda looked down at the ground, she remembered all the private conversations Y/n and her would have about Y/n's past. And all that time Tony was listening.

When they reached the lab building, they walked through Bruce's part then into the hall where Wanda made energy rope around Tony's neck. She watched as he gasped for air. "We are going to find her, and you are going to apologize for all of this." She said, her accent becoming thicker as she spoke.

Tony nodded his head as he fell to his knees. "Good." She muttered and released the energy and continued walking till she reached the doors of Tony's workshop. Once he was able to get his breathing back to normal, he stood up pulling the remote from his pocket and opening the door.

"Why do you care about her so much?" He asked as the two made there way in the room. "I'm not complaining, she needs someone who cares who's not family after-" he waved his hand cutting himself off from mentioning the name.

Wanda didn't respond right away she just looked around at all the suits Tony had on display. "I don't know." She shrugged. "She's careful about who she opens up to, I can relate on some note."

"Yeah. I heard your conversations about Vision-"

"Yeah, well there's no resurrection happening." She said quickly interrupting Tony who nodded and took a seat at his computer. As he began typing away Wanda pulled out her phone grabbing the screwdriver next to her.

She never really used her phone, so she didn't care if her screen cracked as she lifted the face of the phone up popping it out of place. She put the screwdriver back down next to her as she separated the back and the front of the phone trying to find the bug.

"What the hell are you doing?" Tony asked standing up from his seat walking towards Wanda.

"Trying to find the bug." She said looking through the different circuits in the phone not knowing what they did.

"I put it on the back of your case, I didn't have time to rip your phone apart." He explained. Wanda slammed the broken phone down on the counter closing her eyes trying not to let her anger get the best of her.

"You didn't think that was an important detail?" She asked rhetorically. Tony rolled his eyes walking back to the computer.

The two continued to search for any location on Y/n, both of them not resting until they find where she is.
