Throughout the day Wanda and Y/n managed to finish the apple pie and continue having conversations the two enjoyed to have,

Once it became dark outside everyone headed up to there rooms but Y/n who stayed down cleaning the kitchen.

As she swept and mopped the floors cleaning up the flour that was left behind Natasha entered Wanda's room the talk.

With a few more wipes cleaning off the countertop Y/n threw the paper towel away picking up the bucket of water and soap making her way to the bathroom to dump it.

Once she was done she she was able to return the cleaning supplies into the closest before heading upstairs. Taking her steps she was able to hear faint noises coming from Wanda's room.

As she got closer she was able to make out a few words that where being said in the room, she shook her head turning around to her door but then the sound of Wanda's door opening stopped her.

"Oh, hey Y/n." Natasha said stepping into the hall and closing the door.

Not sure as to what they were talking about Y/n turned around to face the girl, "Hi." She said, not really knowing what to say.

With a smile and a nod Natasha walked away and disappeared into her room, Y/n waited for her to leave before looking back at the plain door in front of her.

She walked up to it about to knock when it opened, Wanda was about to walk out holding a blanket in her hand but stopped when she saw Y/n standing at her door.

Y/n had her mouth slightly open to speak but forgot what she wanted to ask when she saw Wanda was about to leave. "...I was just coming to check on you." She explained as Wanda backed up into her room.

Nodding she said, "I was just about to go downstairs for some food." Y/n squinted looking at Wanda's body language.

"No you weren't" She concluded, Wanda looked down to her right at the ground then turned around walking back to her spot on the bed. Y/n let herself in closing Wanda's door behind her taking a seat in the grey chair.

"So your telepathy works now?" She rhetorically asked referring to the list of powers Thor gave her while looking down at her hands.

Letting out a soft laugh Y/n shook her head, "No. I haven't been able to do that yet." She looked up at the girl on the bed letting out a breath she didn't know she was holding. "I know last night was your first time sleeping peacefully."

Wanda shot her head up looking at the girl in her room. "What?"

Clearing her throat she began to elaborate. "The night I put the blanket on you, you were on the couch never really finding a comfortable spot." Wanda looked back down remembering the dream she had, she had the same dreams that would play on repeat. "Am I wrong?"

Wanda lifted her head back up shaking it slightly, "No. That's the worse part." She said lowering her voice for the last sentence.

Y/n hurt watching Wanda, hear voice was shaky, she just wanted Wanda to be okay. Standing up from her seat, Y/n walked in front of Wanda getting down on one knee. "What's keeping you up?"

As Wanda looked into Y/n's eyes she became more nervous, with Y/n on her knee it forced Wanda to look at her. Turning her head, looking down to avoid eye contact she started to explain.

"The first time I lost someone, it was my parents when I was around 10" When that happened I thought that was the worst thing that could've happened to me" she said letting out a small laugh. Y/n moved from her knees to sitting completely on the ground ready to listen.

"I don't think I could've been more wrong. I was told a used a 'probability hex' to stop the Stark bombs from going off, I was born with my powers. Volunteering for Hydra only enhanced them." She took a moment to catch her breath. "Pietro was the only family I had left. We raised ourselves in Sokovia then he risked his life for Clint."

Y/n put her head down, still listening to every word coming out of Wanda's mouth, letting out a sigh Wanda fixed her hair brushing it back with her fingers. "From there everything was worse, it's like, everything I get a chance to love, dies." Nodding her head she agreed with herself looking up at the bookshelf in front of her that Y/n is leaning on, "And it's come to the point where I'm getting used to it. I'm constantly waiting for the next wave to hit me. It's just a very tiring cycle." Let out another breath Wanda lifted her hand over her top lip scratching her skin slightly.

Y/n lifted her head leaning it of the shelf behind her to speak, "You know, I can't compare my life to yours. I made choices willingly, the only thing similar is our parents but other than that, there's nothing." Y/n knew she couldn't say anything to make Wanda feel better, she wasn't no to deal with peoples emotions but she was willing to try for Wanda. "But the fact you're still here, you're okay, says something. Your strong Wanda, and I mean really fucking strong" She whispered yelled and lightly chuckled making Wanda smile, "because I can't imagine the pain you feel...But you're always going to be okay. Soon you'll realize it isn't you, it's not because you love someone but because the world is far from normal." She explained trying her best to comfort the girl in front of her.

Wanda picked her head up looking at Y/n sitting on the floor, and soft reassuring smile. A silence covered the room, the two just starring at each other comfortably.

With a nod Y/n stood up from the ground. "I'll see you later Maximoff." She said, when she finished her sentence Wanda's face dropped ever so slightly looking back down at her hands.
