Y/n walked around her apartment grabbing a beer from the kitchen as she looked around thinking of what to make for lunch. She sighed to herself when she realized how much she was going to miss Wanda's cooking but nevertheless continued with her day.

She walked over to the speaker on the side of the wall pressing the button to check if her friend was back, "Aaron." She said releasing the button waiting for a response. A few seconds went by with no response coming from the other end. "Aaron?" She asked once again but still no response.

"Probably taking advantage of his break." She shrugged. She walked over to her couch taking a seat. She turned on the tv hoping something could get her mind off of the argument she just had, something to clear her mind.

As she flipped through the channels seeing what was on nothing caught her eye. She went to a random channel tossing the remote on the chair next to the sofa. She finished her beer placing it on the table in front of her.

When she noticed the channel, she flipped to she noticed it was a sitcom. Wanda's favorite, recalling the conversation she smiled slightly.

Wanda shook her head and Y/n turned back around to the counter, "Wow." She said to herself shaking her head. "So what do you watch?"

Wanda shrugged walking over to the dough, "I watch a lot of sitcoms and the news at times. I'm not much of a reality Tv person though." She explained as Y/n saw the bowl of flour not to far from her hand.

Y/n nodded as she put her fingertips in the bowl. When she felt it an idea ran through her head, she stole a glance at Wanda but she continued talking about what type of Tv she doesn't like. With that Y/n grabbed a pitch of flour.

"I'm good with movies. What about you? Do-"

And just like that a bit of flour hit Wanda's cheek making her stop asking her question and stand there in shock.

As she adjusted in her seat, she heard a piece of paper crumble beneath her realizing she put the note in her back pocket.

She didn't read it immediately; she was going to wait till they finished cooking. But since that didn't happen, she forgot about the paper. She looked at the folded paper debating on whether or not to read it.

She ran her finger over the folded part of the paper already seeing ink that bled through, she slipped her thumb through the opening of the fold as the paper got bigger. With it now folded in half she took her other hand completely opening the paper and flipping it over since it was upside down.

She sighed to herself before reading it adjusting into her seat as she got her mind right. With one last breath Y/n began reading the words on the paper.

'Good morning Love, I didn't want to leave your side, I wanted to wake up in your arms listening to your morning voice but I knew I wanted to surprise you with baking something simple before telling you something really important that's been on my mind. It took me awhile to come to my senses but now I think I'll be ready to express them. I'm downstairs in the kitchen getting things set up, take as long as you need to get ready even though you do it in a matter of seconds don't be shy to do it in a minute.

~Wanda Maximoff'

As Y/n finished reading the note she dropped her arm on the couch resting her head back. "Fuck." She muttered to herself as regret started to come over her. Wanda did care about Y/n and Y/n cared about Wanda, but both waited too long to tell the other how they truly feel.

Y/n closed her eyes trying not to get a headache as her mind ran all over the place specifically to one word. Love.

'What did she want to tell me?' Y/n mentally asked herself. About to stand up to head in her room there was a knock on her door.

Confused she stood up walking over to it. She looked through the peep hole of the door finding a man checking his watch wearing a suit and a ear piece.

She opened the door and the man immediately smiled, "Y/n Stark, right?"

Tilting her head slightly she nodded, "Yeah, can I help you?"

"Not anymore, we were just checking to make sure you returned back safely, you've been gone for almost a month."

"No worries, I'm here to stay." She assured.

Nodding his head he stared to back up, "Glad to here that, have a good day." He said waving his hand and walking down the hall. Y/n watched him until he entered the elevator with a shorter man in a coat.

She walked up to her balcony watching as the shorter man, and the one she spoke to, who she assumed to be the shorter guys bodyguard, enter a black limousine that was parked at the front of the apartment.

Once Y/n watch the car drive away she returned back inside walking behind the couch and leaning over to turn off the tv. Dropping it back on top of the blanket she walked into the kitchen to get herself another drink.

Grabbing a bottle of water from her fridge she couldn't help but to think about Wanda, regret started to fill her mind, she should've let Wanda explain herself instead of cutting her off constantly, asking her questions that were really meant for Tony.

With a sigh she looked out her window seeing it was starting to get dark. She didn't realize how much time she spent of the couch that she wasted a whole day.
