New Beginnings

As they made their way deeper in the forest Wandas pace became slower enjoying the time she was having with Y/n.

"Why are we in the forest?" Y/n asked looking around to find some type of trap Wanda might've laid out.

"Because I want to re-spend every moment we had with how we feel now," She explained swinging her hand, still holding Y/n's.

Turning she head to Wanda she tried to hide her smile with a comment, "That's adorable Maximoff."

"I take it back,"

"Nope, to late now." She said with a smile, pulling on Wandas arm so she stumbled closer to Y/n causing them to stop walking and face each other.

Calmness came over the two as the breeze came in mixed with the others presence, "I love you," Y/n said looking at Wanda who hand her hand on the side of Y/n's face, rubbing her thumb over the band-aid on Y/n's nose.

"I love you too..." She leaned up quickly capturing Y/n's lips before resting back down on her feet, "come on." She said taking Y/n's hand as they continued their walk in the forest re-picking berries they had found. "Why are you walking so slow?"

"I'm not walking slow, I'm just...taking in the moment." She said while walking a few feet behind Wanda watching her.

Turning her head over her shoulder she looked back at Y/n who had a slight smile, she turned her head back around knowing why she was smirking and shook her head.

Y/n picked up her pace picking Wanda up from behind spinning her around earning a squeal from her. When Y/n stopped turning around she set Wanda down as she continued to giggle.

"That was random." She said through her laugh while continuing to walk in front of Y/n, who shrugged to yourself.

"It was fun," she mumbled while kicking the rocks out of her way but Wanda heard anyways.

Once they found bushes they started collecting many berries placing them in bowls Y/n had made.

"Get that one right there." Wanda said crouching down pointing inside of a bush. She looked back up at Y/n who was already watching her.

"What are you even pointing to?" She asked getting down on her knee to see what Wanda was referring to.

"You don't see that strawberry right there?"

Y/n shook her head still looking for the fruit, "No...no I don't." Wanda sighed trying to get close to it enough for Y/n to see, "Are you sure it's even there?"

Wanda used her free hand to hit Y/n's shoulder as she rolled her eyes, "It's literally right there."

"Wanda." Y/n started trying to hide her smile, "that's not a strawberry."

"Wh- yes it is." She convinced herself as she leaned forward a bit more, when she grabbed the leaf she realized it was a raspberry with a stem covering it so it looked like what Wanda mistakened it to be.

"Not a strawberry." Y/n said with a proud smile standing back up with her bowl in hand. Wanda stood up as well not uttering a word. "Wanda, come here."

Y/n waved her hand over signaling for Wanda to make her way over, when she did Y/n wrapped her arms around Wandas neck and pulled her into a hug.

"I'm not making fun of you, I just think your adorable." Wanda hugged Y/n back and the two stayed like that for a few more seconds before continuing there quest.

After awhile of being outside Wanda noticed it was about to rain. "We can head back inside and clean these off." She suggested.

Y/n picked a couple more catching up with Wanda who had already started walking. "I'm supposed to be the one with the speed." She said to herself.

Once they made it back inside the two made their way to the kitchen sink. Wanda took the bowl from Y/n's hands running hot water of them.

Turning around to face Y/n she examined her facial expressions as she looked around the compound, "What? Is there a bug on my face?" Y/n asked rubbing her hand over her face and neck.

Wanda chuckled lightly shaking her head, "No, I was just starring." She said softly, Y/n brought her hands to Wandas waist playing with the hem of her pants, not in a teasing way. "I find it pretty rude you haven't asked me, as you put it, the thrilling question." Crossing her arms giving Y/n a look only making her smile.

"I have a plan, really I do. Tonight, I promise." Wanda turned around to stop the water while Y/n's hands remained at Wandas waist. She leaned forward placing a kiss on Wandas shoulder, "It'll be worth it." She whispered before walking over to the couch.

As Wanda continued to sort out the berries they picked, Y/n stayed on the couch while it started to rain lightly.

Once Wanda was finished she moved the berries into the refrigerator and looked over at Y/n who was slowly falling asleep on the couch.

Smiling to herself at the sight she decided to walk over, she squatted down in front of Y/n's face, once again messing with the band-aids.

"Its concerning how much you like these." Y/n mumbled,

Letting out a snicker Wanda corrected her, "I just think where they're placed is adorable."

Y/n tucked her head further into the pillow hiding her face from Wanda. She lifted her hand and started rubbing Y/n's back before sitting completely on the ground.

"There's room up here." Y/n said almost in a whisper, Wanda turned her head to look over at the girl confused but Y/n flipped over so she was laying on her back and held her arms open.

Slightly blushing Wanda stood up from her spot on the floor and laid down wrapped in Y/n's arms. Without knowing she followed Y/n's breathing pattern falling asleep.

The two were so comfortable in there spots they stayed asleep skipping lunch. Wanda had woken up a bit before Y/n climbing off her to make some sort a
of between meal they could have before dinner.

Not to long after Y/n woke up but stayed on the couch watching Tv. They continued there conversations from where they were, mostly them teasing each other

"So anyone can hold Stormbreaker but the hammer right there," Y/n points to Thor's hammer hung where everyone's jackets and keys were, "I have to be worthy?"

"I think so according to Thor his axe isn't enchanted."

Y/n looks back over at the hammer then at Wanda who gestures her arm for Y/n to try. She stands up walking over to the hooks and she rubs her hands together trying to build up her grip.

She tries letting it from the handle to try and bring the strap over the hook but nothing, "Well I guess I'm not worthy." she shrugs walking back over to her seat while Wanda watched her with a smile.

Once Y/n relaxed back into the couch she sensed something was off. She turned her head looking out the window of the compound seeing the front gate open with a car parked in front of it.
