Morning/Night

The more time went by the more Y/n slowly began to fall back into sleep. Wanda, who was beginning to wake up turned her head to rest on Y/n's shoulders. Feeling Y/n's chest rise and fall woke Wanda up fully as she looked at the position the two where in.

Leaning up on her elbow she carefully removed her arm from around Y/n's stomach resting it on Y/n's chest. She started lightly taping her finger under Y/n's collar bone to wake her up. With the feeling, and the light sleep Y/n fell in she woke up a second time.

Turning her head a couple times she locked eyes with Wanda who had a soft smile biting her bottom lip. "Morning." She mumbled through her smile.

"Look who decided to wake up." Y/n joked as she pushed herself to sit up. Wanda laid back down getting back under the covers. "Did you sleep well last night?" she asked while rubbing her eyes and moving her position to sit at the edge of the bed.

"It was better than the couch I'll say that." She teased back. Y/n turned her head back giving an 'offended' look.

"Excuse you Maximoff but I've been told I make a pretty good cuddlier." She corrected making Wanda giggle, Y/n turned her head back to the plain wall in front of her thinking about the events of last night dropping her head as she smiled.

"I'll make breakfast in a bit, you get the team up."

"Do I get something special made just for me?"

"No. Why would you?" Wanda asked sitting up to better understand Y/n.

"I helped you sleep, I should get some type of reward." She explained turning her head to face Wanda once again.

"Oh you did, a bigger ego." She said impressed with her own sentence. Y/n hung her mouth open as she listened to Wanda, she quietly nodded her head.

"Wow," She began, dropping her head. "I see how it is." Y/n pushed herself off the bed standing up as she turned around making her way towards the door. Pushed the handle down pulling the door open she knocked on the door frame signaling she was leaving making Wanda slightly smile.

The day consisted of teasing between the two, the team didn't tell Wanda or Y/n about Tony's visit worried they would only make matters worse.

Bruce continued to work in his lab to solve Wanda's question leaving the only flour left to hang out which they were all okay with. Steve and Y/n took the couch while Natasha and Wanda took the chairs.

"Y/n, you get your money in few days what do you plan on buying?" Steve asked swaying his knee to hit against Y/n's leg as she thought about it.

"God I don't even know." She started, "I thought I wanted some type of expensive mansion but living here for almost a month really made me change my view."

"So what do you want?"

"Honestly I think it would be pretty fun and relaxing to get a cabin in the middle of nowhere, near the mountains but near a small town but the cabin is like the only thing you see." She explained getting herself excited.

Steve softly chuckled at Y/n's excitement, "Well I hope you get it someday." He said. The more the two Avengers asked about what she was going to do once the month was up she couldn't help but notice Wanda drifting from the conversation.

She noticed whenever her leaving was brought up she would get up and leave into the kitchen. This was exactly what Y/n was afraid of. Getting attached, she'd be lying if she said she wouldn't miss Wanda.

She'd also be lying if she said she didn't come up with an excuse to stay longer. As the day became darker the Avengers all made there way upstairs to their rooms.

Y/n, who was on the dock picked up a few acorns that laid on the wood from the oak tree nearby. Picking a few up placing them in her pocket as she sat down on one of the chairs. Leaning back down she found a smaller acorn.

She placed it in the palm of her hand moving it around watching it roll from side to side. Eventually she added it to her pocket.

She stood up and walked back up the slight hill back into the compound. Opening the glass door she locked it once she was inside, she made her way into the kitchen emptying her pockets letting the acorns roll on the counter.

Taking her hands she scooped them back into a pile and started picking through the best looking ones. Y/n didn't know why she liked acorns so much she just couldn't help herself but to collect them.

Once she found the ones she wanted to keep she threw the others away. She collected her new pile and walked upstairs into her adding them to the zip-lock back she had in her room.

With her door still open she took a look across the hall at Wanda's door not sure if she should go in or not, or if her staying with her was a one night thing.

Wanda, who was in bed kept moving around trying to find a comfortable spot. Once she found a tolerable spot she didn't move, she didn't realize how much of an effect Y/n had on her to where she couldn't go to sleep wanting her presence.

Closing her room door Y/n walked over to her bed picking up the baseball she left, then she made her way over to the mirror in her room checking her eye seeing a light shade of purple spots above and under her eye, "Of course." She mumbled as the illusion of the baseball disappeared.

Turning her head back to her door she opened it walking into the hall, quietly pacing it she debated on whether or not to enter Wanda's room.

taking a breath Y/n placed her hand on the handle opening the door as calmly as she could seeing the dark room and Wanda laying down. She turn her head to see who it was who entered her room but she didn't need to.

Y/n made it the same side she was in last time assuming it was slowly becoming her side of the bed. Lifting the sheets she made her way under the covers.

Wanda, who was laying on her side was trying to contain every emotion she was starting to feel. The two were now in the same beginning position they were in last night, but they both wanted to be closer.

Without a warning or a second thought Y/n turned on her side, facing Wanda's back and slowly wrapped her arms around Wanda's stomach. She continued moving closer and pulling Wanda back slightly until her front was touching Wanda's back.

"I know you can't sleep with out me." Y/n couldn't help but use the opportunity to tease as she rested her head into Wanda's neck.

With light giggle Wanda mumbled, "I look forward to tomorrow." Allowing herself to relax into Y/n's touch Wanda was able to go to sleep within a few seconds.
