Opening the back door Y/n slid in as did Wanda and Tony started driving. Y/n's eyes would move from the back window to the review mirrors worried they were being followed.

"You can calm down kid. SHEILD won't be after us." Tony said,

Letting out a huff then an annoyed laugh she said, "I'm not worried about us, I'm worried about Mark." She said turning her head again hoping to still see the building but they were already to far.

Looking over at Y/n, Wanda couldn't help but worry. She noticed how tired Y/n seemed the cuts and rips in her suit.

The car ride was silent, the tension in the car could be cut with a knife. No one dared to speak to Y/n scarred they would piss her off enough for her to ask Tony to pull over so she could leave the car.

Wanda started picking at her nails, helping her calm her nerves, wanting to say a lot of things to Y/n but not knowing where to begin.

Y/n stole a few glances looking at Wanda's hands noticing her picking at her skin but she didn't say anything to stop her, she just looked back out the window.

Once the trio made it to the compound, Wanda and Y/n still not speaking a word to each other, Tony pulled into the parking lot of the compound.

"Wanda could you give us a moment?" She got up from her seat before turning her head slightly to look at Y/n who was still looking out the window before fully getting out the car and making her way to the glass doors.

"Listen. I know my intentions were wrong." Tony started, he adjusted the review mirror so he and Y/n could make eye contact. "I didn't trust you so I decided to turn my back on you, only to find out, I was the one you shouldn't trust."

Y/n continued looking out the window not showing any signs of emotion. "She cares about you. Wanda. You should've seen how she almost killed me for leading SHEILD to you."

Y/n's eyes moved to look at Wanda who was sitting on the couch in the main room. "And I see the way you look at her. I know you don't need my approval but I think you two are perfect for each other."

"I don't like her." Y/n mumbled, knowing what she said wasn't true but she was never able to admit them out loud. Even to herself, along in a room she was never able to speak the words.

With a smile not wanting to upset Y/n anymore Tony nodded, "Okay," with that Y/n took it as a sign to open her door, "I love you." Tony said turning his head to look at Y/n, "And I'm sorry."

Taking a moment to soak in the words Tony just said to her she looked down to hide the slight tears forming in her eye. Getting out of the car Y/n lightly mumbled 'love you too' to her brother as she made her way inside the compound while Tony took off heading back home.

Y/n made her way to the glass doors of the compound, her eyes going to the uncleaned kitchen, countertop still full of ingredients from when Y/n walked out.

She turned her head to look at Wanda who was already starring but when she realized Y/n caught her she turned her head back down facing the book she was reading.

Y/n made her way upstairs back into her room closing her door. She walked up to her mirror looking at the cut she had on the bridge of her nose, and eyebrow.

Turning on the sink she grabbed some paper towels getting them damp trying to clean the blood. As she quinced at the pain she dropped the paper into the trash can trying to catch her breath as more blood started to make it's way out of the cut.

A light knock on her door made her shot her head up and unlock it for the person. As she opened the door she found Wanda standing in her room, she slowly moved her hand over her mouth when she saw how bad the cuts where having a better view rather than her side profile in the car.

"I'll be back." She said walking off, Y/n held her arm out to stop her but she was to late. When Wanda returned with the first aid kit she cupped Y/n's face gently looking at the cuts before cleaning them.

Closing her eyes not wanting to stare into Wanda's eyes as she cleaned her face she said, "Wanda you don't have to do this."

"Please, let me." She said, with a sigh Y/n kept her eyes closed as Wanda grabbed the wipes cleaning the blood off her nose.

A silence fell upon the two once again, for Wanda it was clear Y/n wanted to be left alone so she didn't speak.

"This might sting a bit." The witch warned as she grabbed some rubbing alcohol dipping a paper towel in it. She looked up at Y/n taking a moment to examine her facial features.

"Are you going to heal me or keep starring at me?" Wanda dropped her head down looking for something to keep her attention on forgetting Y/n's eyes were closed.

She cleared her throat as she placed a hand under Y/n's chin bringing her head down a bit. "Yeah, I was just looking for something."

Y/n hummed in response amused by Wandas quick lie. Once the blood was cleaned off Y/n's face Wanda reached down on the counter grabbing band-aids.

When Y/n heard the noise of the wrapper she shook her head. "You're not putting a band-aid on me." She said, Wanda furrowed her brows looking at the girl whose eyes were still closed.

"What? Why not?"

"They'll look stupid." She explained, Wanda couldn't help but smile shaking her head as she placed a band-aid over the bridge of Y/n's nose.

Taking a moment to look at it Wanda tilted her head, "I think it looks good." She said grabbing another one placing it over the cut that split Y/n's eyebrow.

Cleaning up the mess the witch threw everything in the trash as Y/n opened her eyes again. Wanda paused what she was doing to look at Y/n. The tension became thicker in the room as they both looked into each others eyes.

Feeling everything they felt before their argument, the comfort they found in one another. "I can see the band-aid on my nose," Y/n informed the girl in front of her, breaking the silence awkwardly. "You know like at the bottom, I just see...the stupid band-aid."

Letting out a laugh Wanda picked the first aid kit back up, "You need some rest." She said turning around leaving the bathroom.

Y/n walked out turning off the light as she stood in the middle of her room thinking about how to tell Wanda she wasn't going to stay.

"I don't think that's a good idea." She said with her hands in her pockets. Turning around from the door frame Wanda gave Y/n a confused look, "I'm not staying."

Shaking her head in disbelief Wanda spoke up, "Why? What about the money didn't you Tony have a deal?"

"I don't care about the money, I just don't think I can stay here." With her hands still in her pockets she began to walk forward but Wanda didn't move out the way.

"Please Y/n. Stay." She pleaded, as the two reconnected their eyes Y/n broke contact letting out a sigh and walking over to her bed. Pleased, Wanda grabbed the handle of the door closing it on her way out.
