The Answer

Wanda and Tony continued there search for the building which consisted of speed walking around the compound, Natasha and Steve leaving the compound as they searched by foot, and Bruce in his lab.

"I mean I just don't understand why SHEILD? I know she worked for them at some point by why couldn't we handle this, they while tear that building apart locking every single person they find in prison." Wanda asked looking through the different holograms around the room with Tony.

"I wasn't thinking. I never wanted her to be locked up, I just didn't want her going back there."

"Oh yeah, how did that turn out for you?"

Putting his hands down as he took a step back to look at the different images across the room he said in a warning tone, "Don't start with me Maximoff I realize what I did wasn't right stop reminding me." He looked over at a file on his table he didn't recognize and took a step forward picking it up.

Opening it he read through the printed papers, his eyes skimming the pages looking for nothing in particular but also to see if he could get an idea of what the papers meant. Once her finished the first page, still clueless, he looked at Wanda, the only other person you could've brought it in. "Why are you starring at me like that?" She asked confused,

"I'm not sure what I'm looking at," he explained handing the file over to Wanda who immediately recognized it. It was the file Bruce gave her, she still hadn't opened it yet, to busy working, but she did find the time to walk back over to the meeting room to bring it back to her.

Giving one last look at Tony she sat down in his chair looking through the papers, flipping through a few, not understanding what she was reading over she stood up continuing to look down at the papers then started walking out of the workshop.

Making her way down the hall she walked into Bruce's lab, the noise of the door opening and closing pulled him from his work to turn in his seat finding the confused girl walking over to him with the files in her hand.

"Hey." He greeted with a smile.

Wanda looked up nodding her head, "Hey," she made her way next to his desk so she was standing next to him. "Could you tell me what this...means?" She asked showing the file.

"I think it's pretty clear." He shrugged flipping the pages to the last one. "You don't have to read it, but I suggest you do. Everything will make sense."

Wanda turned her attention down to the hand written note that explained it, like Bruce said, clearly. Dropping the file on on the table in front of her she walked away and back into the workshop.

Not saying a word she picked back up on the work she left off on. Tony watched as Wanda had a new sense of motivation running through her, he knew in a matter of time it would drain her energy as her mind raced to the answer of her question.

"Have you eaten?" Tony asked noticing Wanda's energy getting low, shaking her head in response Tony wiped the hologram away to grab her full attention.

"Tony-"

"Go eat something then come back." He ordered. Not having the energy to argue back Wanda walked out the building and into the compound.

The question: Why do Y/n and Wanda sometimes get shocked?

The answer being: It's an emotional connection, if the two feel mutually in love within that given moment whether they know it or not, they wont get shocked. Anything casual, or hatred sensed in their emotion causes their energies to spark through their connection with the Mind Stone.

Which explained how the first day they met Y/n couldn't put her hand on Wanda's shoulder, why their first night they spent on the roof of the deck Y/n was able to place her hand on Wanda's waist.

Everything was coming together like a puzzle.

As Wanda entered the kitchen to grab a snack, her mind still going through different worries and questions. If she was okay, if she was even at her apartment, if she was truly in love again.

'She's fine, she's fine. She lived without me in her life before why would she need me now?' She mentally told herself. As she sat down on a barstool looking down at her cereal she couldn't stop thinking about Y/n, as much as she tried to use her snack break to relax her mind, she couldn't.

Quickly finishing her food Wanda washed her dish and returned back into the workshop with Tony, "What did you eat?" He asked noticing she was only gone for 20 minutes.

"Cereal." She said as she looked at the hologram Tony was working on.

"You need to eat a real meal."

"Tony, please." With that he sighed turning back to the loading image.

"JARVIS is locating the building based off the image," He informed her. A few minutes pass and JARVIS let out an announcement of where the building could be located to Tony's phone. "You're right she's back at her apartment..." He started typing again as Wanda turned around looking behind his chair trying to read the map that was moving.

"And SHEILD is on there way." Tony pushed his feet against the floor rolling the chair back making Wanda move out of the way as he went to the other computer. "I'm buying us some time; you need to go get her." He said not taking his eyes off the screen. Wanda tossed a small earpiece on Tony's desk as she put one in her own ear. She quickly walked out the workshop and out of the building.
