"Okay, you're at ten centimeters, but the baby's not coming. We're going to have to prepare for an emergency c-section," the nurse came up to you and told both you and JJ. Your eyes left hers to meet the blue ones you fell deeply in love with. JJ could see all the fear that rested in your eyes and was etched into your features and he gave your hand a squeeze to calm your nerves a bit.

"Hey, baby. I'm here for you, and for the baby, alright? I'm not going anywhere," he whispered into your hair before placing a kiss on the top of your head. You nodded at him before you were rushed to an operating room for the procedure.

"I am right here, okay?" JJ mumbled before kissing your forehead. "She's going to be okay."

And he was right. Not too long after, you two heard the cries of your little girl fill the room as tears brimmed yours and JJ's eyes. The nurses brought her up to your head for a second before taking her to get her cleaned off.

"She's beautiful, J," you spoke through the tears that were flowing down your cheeks.

"I know, sweetheart. She looks so much like you."
