''You've got about two moves until he wins. You know that?'' Manuel asked.

He was watching Sebastian and Stephen have yet another game of chess which Sebastian already knew he would lose. Nevertheless, he tried to distract himself while Dina had gone off to get everything ready for the Polyjuice Potion.

Victoria had taken it upon herself to prepare everything for Sebastian's visit to the Slytherin Common Room. Despite knowing that the Polyjuice Potion takes a month to brew, he trusted that Victoria would figure something out. He would have stolen the potion from Snape, of course. He figured she was doing the same.

''Actually, three moves unless he notices something,'' Stephen replied proudly.

''Ahh, shut up!'' Sebastian replied, laughing.

Sacrificing his last bishop, Sebastian took down Stephen's rook. He expected Stephen to have liked his move.

''Nice,'' Stephen exclaimed.

''I said shut it,''

Stephen laughed and Sebastian saw him take down his last rook as well.

''Fuck off,'' Sebastian grunted, waving with his hand. ''I don't want to see the rest of this.''

''Let's finish it. Please!''

''Fine, fine,''

As Sebastian squeezed Stephen's hand tightly, shaking it, his eyes wandered towards Nathaniel. They had done so a lot during the game.

Sebastian wondered whether Nathaniel knew about him as Victoria had. Although he had given him the note and it seemed that Nathaniel was more cheerful, his head stuck in the Library lately, he never gave Sebastian any hints.

Sebastian's head turned away from Nathaniel when Dina entered the Common Room.

''Seb, come here,'' Dina said, greeting Manuel and Stephen. ''can I pull you aside- oh, you've already lost.''

''Ha-ha,'' Sebastian replied back and Stephen thanked Dina at the same time.

The two walked away from the chess game.

''All right. What's up?'' Sebastian asked.

''Vic has it. She wants us to meet her and we should go soon. She says it's best to go and be back during dinner or someone will be suspicious,'' Dina replied.

''What if Draco's there?''

''Haven't thought much about it,''

''You kidding me? I thought she said she'll sort it out!''

''Well, maybe she'll tell us more when we get there,''

''Who am I turning into again?''

''No idea but she knows,''

''Great. I don't even have time to learn my backstory,''

''Oh, as if you would,''

Sebastian gave a sarcastically nervous laugh as the two left the Common Room. Manuel eyed them both as the door closed, taking a seat next to Stephen.

Sebastian and Dina met Victoria on the sixth-floor corridor, making sure several times that no one was near to snoop on them.

''Hi,'' they greeted Victoria.

''Hey. We haven't got much time but- the names' Theodore Nott. He's in Malfoy's year. I've already put him... over there,'' Victoria explained, pointing her head towards the wall.

''What's there?'' Dina asked.

''Didn't we discover a secret nook there a few years ago?'' Sebastian asked.
