Just as Sirius and James had told Remus, he came to the Library a few minutes later than Avery had said. They thought making her wait would ensure that she wanted to see him more.
When Remus arrived at the Library to work on her Transfigurations essay, Avery sat at the desk where the sunset shined through the window and made her beautiful blonde hair stand out even more. She spotted Remus and smiled as soon as he walked closer.
''Hi again,'' Avery said and waved.
''Sorry that I'm late. Sirius held me back a little,''
''It's all right, I know how they can get,''
''I feel like I need to apologize for the two as well... James was sort of pushing it this morning,'' Remus chuckled.
''Oh, about the- they're just teasing us, right?'' Avery said.
She was referring to James' cheeky comment about them spending their time together in the Library. Remus didn't quite know how to respond and they started writing her essay.
''What did Professor McGonagall assign you?'' Remus asked.
'Human transfiguration. Everything about it, like, the dangers of it and stuff,''
''Right, well. I'll go get the appropriate books,''
Avery smiled as Remus disappeared deeper into the Library. He, of course, had read almost every book about human transfiguration and werewolves, so it didn't take him long to find everything they would need. Meanwhile, Avery quickly checked out her hair in the window, standing up quickly.
