We really didn't need to be kicked out of, yet, another store. We both let out a sigh of relief when the thing stabilized. "Maybe it's not such a great idea to bounce a ball around where there are breakables," I heard Katrina say. Sam and I both looked over and saw her and Anna standing there, with their chosen bathing suits in hand. "I don't know what you're talking about," I replied, shrugging and holding my hands up to show that I hadn't done anything. "We were just sitting here talking, waiting on you beautiful ladies to be finished." She narrowed her eyes at me, while a small smile turned up the corners of her lips, slightly. "Sure, Colby. I believe that," she said, causing Anna to giggled. I turned my attention to her and winked. "I'm getting this suit," Kat said, passing the hot pink suit that matched her hair to Sam. I glanced down at the green suit in Anna's hands and silently thanked the universe. "I'm not sure about this one," she said, hesitantly, and held it out to me. "But Katrina said that it looked the best." "Oh, it's definitely going to look amazing," I replied, picturing her in the suit in my mind. She blushed and looked down. "Do we have everything?" Sam asked. "Yeah, but we need to stop and get drinks and snacks," Kat said. We paid for our things, piled into the car, and went in search of the other items. By the time we finally made it to the beach, half of the day was gone. We had all changed into our suits at the last store, and put our clothes back on, on top of them. "Here looks like a good spot. Not too many people around," Sam said, setting the cooler that we had just purchased, down in the sand. "This'll work," I replied. I rolled out the blanket that we had to sit on, snapped it straight and let it drift down onto the sand. Sam and I stripped off our shirts and sat down. I watched Anna lift her shirt and drop it onto the blanket. She was staring off into the horizon, watching the waves. The bright bottle green bathing suit top fit her curves perfectly. My eyes traveled down over her abdomen, as she shimmied out of her shorts. The bottom rested low on her hips, leaving my eyes craving more. She reached behind her and pulled at the back of the suit on her ass. "Kat, I don't know why I let you talk me into this," she groaned. "My entire ass is showing!" Kat laughed, as she piled her clothes next to Sam on the blanket. "It's not your entire ass, Anna. "This is the entire ass." She turned and flashed her ass, that was completely bare in her thong suit. "What you're showing is maybe half your ass." "Still too much," Anna muttered, pulling at the suit again. I started to laugh, unable to help myself, at the disgruntled look on her face. She met my gaze and narrowed her eyes. "It's not funny!" she exclaimed, crossing her arms over her chest. I stopped laughing and tried to straighten my face. "You're right," I replied, feeling the smile tug at the corner of my lips. "It's hilarious!" "Oh, you ass," she said, rolling her eyes. I jumped up from the blanket and wrapped my arms around her waist. "Maybe," I responded, keeping my voice low, as I stared into her emerald eyes. They seemed to be sparkling in the bright sunlight, almost hypnotising me. "I might be an ass, but you have an exceptional one." I reached down quickly and squeezed her bare flesh, making  her shriek in surprise. Sam and Kat were laughing too, at this point, and I could see the humor in Anna's eyes. "You're so annoying," she replied, wrapping her arms around my neck. "I know," I said, with a smirk, before I leaned down and pressed my lips to hers. She opened immediately, needing no coaxing from me, and the kiss deepened. I felt her melt into me, so I pulled her tighter against my body. I heard a little mewl escape her lips and it went straight to that familiar pit in my stomach. I heard someone clear their throat, which reminded me that we were in public. I pulled away slowly, let her go, then took her hand. "So, who's down for some chicken?" I asked, looking at Sam, since I knew he was the one who had cleared his throat. He grinned and looked at Katrina. She shrugged and sighed. "Why not?" Then she jumped up and started running towards the water. "Last one in has to clean Colby's room!" she screamed. "HEY!" I yelled and took off after her. Anna and Sam followed us. Kat splashed into the water just a few seconds before I did. I reached down and cupped my hand to gather water, then threw it towards her. The water splashed right in her face and she screamed. "My room IS clean, Kat!" I exclaimed, laughing at her expression. "Oh, you're gonna get it!" she replied, with her voice low and steely. I was almost a little scared. Anna came up behind me then, so I pulled her around in front of me. "Protect me from the crazy Kat," I whimpered, joking around. Sam laughed and shook his head. "You might actually need protection, Colby," he joked. Or, I think he was joking. Maybe not. "Anna will save me," I replied, holding her waist so that she stayed in front of me. She turned around met my gaze, her eyes wide. "Nuh uh! You got yourself into this mess. Count me out!" She twisted out of my grasp and moved a few paces away. "Traitor!" I exclaimed, raising my hands up, then letting me fall and slap the water. We were all in up to our waists, now. She giggled and shrugged. "Sam," I said, turning to him. "Climb on my shoulders, brother. Looks like we're partners now." He raised his eyebrows, then shrugged. "Okay, sure." He moved towards me and the surprise on Kat's face made me crack up. She reached out and grabbed his arm, tugging him back towards her. "Don't you dare! This is not a Solby situation!" she exclaimed, holding back the laughter that tugged at the corners of her mouth. He sighed and looked back at me. "Sorry, bro," he said, hanging his head. "Solby can't win this one." "Damn," I sighed, then looked back at Anna. I held out my hand, grinning at her.
