Chapter 24: Digital Will

Virus and Rico threaded in the digital tunnels as they seek out the camera man. Virus looked at the outside and saw multiple cameras scanning at the hallways. Rico was by Virus's side and he pointed at a rapien soldier sleeping at the side of the hallway.

"No, we must focus on our primary mission. We can't convert fully organic targets." Rico nodded and carried on forward.

"100 metres away from the target, good luck."

...

Cam was still checking the cameras as he noticed a lime dot that was a tiny pixel in the wires. "Is that normal? It's kinda luminous, that must mean something..."

The computer suddenly received a message, it was video footage of a dark silhouette at the door way of the biologists trio's lab. The silhouette faded away as sounds of chaos was heard from the room. A piece of wall was ripped off and thrown into somewhere. Vibrations was seen and the sounds of breaking glass was heard.

Cam listened intently and was a little shocked from the intense motion and sounds. The last audio heard was the sound of many marbles falling on the ground. An object was pulled out of the room, as noticed through the small hole created.

"That's plated rock, whoever who pulled the wall out must be really strong."

Cam pushed his chair towards an emergency button.

"Sir, I found a button in the room which may ruin our plans of taking control of Cam."

"What is it?" Virus asked as he stopped outside of the office and looked at Cam, who was watching a video footage of the fight from before.

"Neutralise the emergency button to prevent him from using it."

Virus noticed it and nodded, "I see the button, confirming button identity?"

"Yes, that's the one."

Cam pressed the button, "Why...why isn't it working?"

Black and lime dots started surrounding the button. "What the hell?"

Cam brandished his sword and placed his hand on his pistol, before switching to grab his phone. He was about to call someone when a bullet flew towards the screen.

The bullet broke the phone and it fell out of his hands. Seeing this, he quickly drew his pistol and fired at the direction of the bullet.

Virus, who was in Rico's body dodged the bullet and it hit the wall behind him. "You gonna have to aim better."

Cam frowned and shouted, "I thought you were part of the investigation! Not be with the enemy!"

Virus laughed with Rico's voice overlapping. "Oh yeah, very surprising right?"

Cam glared and fired again and Virus dodged yet again. "Come be a man and fight me, Cam."

"I'll tear you apart!" Cam shouted as he held his sword back.

Virus laughed, "Come get some!"

The two charged at each other.

Cam made the first move by jumping into the air and changing his short sword into a claymore sword. He slammed the blade into the ground and tiny bots started swarming from the blade.

Virus slid to the side and landed a kick to Cam's arm, which he blocked. The major shrunk his sword again to remove it from the ground and controlled the tiny robots to grab Virus's arms. "No where to run now!"
