The two of them brought the puppy to a relatively famous pet hospital.

As Jungkook had a severe obsession with cleanliness since he was young, although he liked small animals very much, he had never been allowed to keep pets.

Mother Jeon naturally knew Jungkook's interest.

In desperation, she could only open a pet shop so that her son could see small animals in a relatively safe environment.

She did not expect that the pet shop would expand, and its business scope also became wider. It had become a famous chain of pet hospitals in the city.

Jungkook brought Lisa into the pet hospital. He handed the puppy to the medical staff and waited quietly.

Jungkook looked at the dust and dog fur on Lisa's body and frowned slightly.

He suppressed the urge to clean up Lisa. He swallowed his saliva and said, "When you were young, did you live well in the countryside?"

Hearing Jungkook's question, Lisa turned to look at him and smiled. "Very well! I was happy every day!"

"At least, I was happier than living here!" Lisa said sincerely.

"Aren't you happy here?" Jungkook asked with some heartache.

Lisa grinned at Jungkook. "I'm fine. I am happier recently!"

Jungkook suddenly raised his eyebrows. "Is it because of me?"

Lisa could not help but glare at Jungkook. "You're so shameless!"

Jungkook chuckled. "I'll definitely work hard to make you happier in the future!"

Lisa's heart suddenly throbbed twice. She did not know why, but she felt her heart tighten.

Lisa was about to say something when the vet walked out of the treatment room. "The puppy is just a little anemic. The rest is fine."

Lisa quickly got up and walked over, taking the puppy from the vet's arms.

The puppy sniffed Lisa's scent. As if it was familiar with the scent, it snuggled in Lisa's arms and found a comfortable position for itself.

Looking at the little fellow snuggling comfortably in her arms, the smile on Lisa's face grew wider.

"Doctor, do you need to prescribe any medicine for it?" Lisa asked.

"It's still young. Just prepare some nutritious food for it," the vet suggested.

Lisa nodded and said, "I'll have to trouble you then!"

Lisa carried the puppy and left the pet hospital with Jungkook.

The two of them did not go back through the front door of the coffee shop. Instead, they went straight back to Dara's house through the back door.

Just as Lisa was about to open the door, she saw Jisoo open the door and rush out.

Lisa was stunned. Seeing Jisoo's weary look, she asked, "What's happening?"

"I just received a call saying that there's an urgent matter at home and asked sister and me to go back," Jisoo said hurriedly.

"We might not come back tonight, you guys..." Jisoo glanced at Jungkook and said to Lisa, "I don't care anymore! I'm leaving now!"

Lisa was blinking her eyes watching Jisoo run away without looking back.

Lisa and Jungkook looked at each other awkwardly, feeling that Jisoo seemed to have misunderstood something.

However, there was no chance to explain now. Thus the two of them could only accept it.

They had brought the puppy home, but the puppy had been asleep and not woken up.

Lisa used her blanket to build a temporary nest for the puppy.

After putting the puppy on the blanket, Lisa quickly went to the kitchen and began to make the milk that she had bought from the pet hospital for the puppy.

According to the vet's suggestion, Lisa carefully did the work of a super wet nurse.

Jungkook stood at the side and watched Lisa's every move, a smile appearing in his eyes.

After being busy, Lisa finally squatted next to the puppy. Seeing the little guy sleeping soundly, she laughed to herself.

Jungkook stood at the side and muttered, "So cute."

Lisa didn't even raise her head and said, "Yeah! So cute!"

"Those boys are so bad! They even want to bully such a cute puppy!" Lisa said angrily.

Jungkook shook his head and didn't continue speaking.
