When I opened my eyes, I noticed two things right from the get go. Number one, it was bright enough outside that even my curtains couldn't block it out completely. And number two, Kyler was gone. By the feel of the sheets beside me, he hadn't been gone for long, but there was a part of me that kind of wished I would have woken up with him beside me.

I got out of bed, happy that my legs were working, before heading to my bathroom to shower. While they'd cleaned me the best they could, I still didn't necessarily feel like I was as clean as I could be.

I eyed the marks on my shoulders in my mirror, cringing a little. They still didn't look good, but they weren't as horrible as I knew they'd been last night. The outer edges of the wounds were still red and bruised, but they were already scabbed over and even kind of healed in other parts.

I showered quickly, then pulled on black leggings and an oversized band t-shirt before throwing my hair up into a bun. It would either dry that way and look wavy once I put it down, or I'd look like a whole ass clown. There was no in-between in regards to that.

When I kicked open my bathroom door, I squeaked in surprise when I saw Kieran, Lucian, and Kyler in my room. In Kyler's hands was a cake with a purple candle stuck in the middle, the little flame on top flickering in the slight breeze of the air conditioner.

I walked over to them and looked down at it.

I blinked, realizing what it said.

Happy Birthday, Nova.

I let out a surprised laugh, looking up at them. With everything going on, I'd lost track of the days.

I thought for a moment.

I only wish they'd continue being friendly with each other, I thought, leaning forward and blowing the candle out.

"Cake for breakfast sounds like a freaking fantastic plan," I said, motioning for them to follow me out of my room. "Where'd you get the cake? Actually, how did you know it was my birthday?"

Kyler placed the cake on the table while Lucian went to go grab a knife and Kieran grabbed plates.

What a well oiled bromantic machine.

I bit back a smile at the sight.

"Your mom told us the night you went to that gathering with Merlin," Lucian said, handing me the knife.

Kieran sat four plates and forks down. "To answer your question from yesterday, apparently Lucian does know how to bake."

Kyler snorted a laugh as he plucked out the candle and licked the icing from the wax. His eyes slid to me and he smirked before setting it down on the table.

After I cut the cake and made sure everyone had a piece, I took a bite. The moment it hit my tongue, I fell even more in love with Lucian. Kieran and Kyler knew how to cook. Lucian knew how to bake. What the hell else could a girl want in her life?

The three of them began talking and I allowed myself to sit and listen, trying not to smile. If I smiled, it would give my thoughts away. I knew all Kyler could feel from me is an immense contentment.

I once again allowed myself to think of the me from months ago. How I would have been appalled by the idea of being with anyone that wasn't human. Now I was going to become a type of immortal to live forever with my three men. And hell, maybe I could talk my mom and Naomi into letting me use those powers on them. To make them immortal along with us.

My mom would probably agree, especially if her and her new vampire lover became permanent.

A knock at my door drew me from my thoughts, and Kieran stood and went to get it.

"I figured that we could do this now," he said, walking back into the kitchen with a female vampire trailing behind him. "That is, if you're ready. If not, I can have her explain her powers."

The female vampire looked at me and nodded. "Hello, master. I'm glad to see you're well. Happy birthday."

I would never get used to that, immortal or not.

I nodded back, remembering what Selene had said. Just because she accepted that I didn't want to be called master, wouldn't mean everyone else would. I'd tell them all in a group sooner or later, probably like how I'd eventually tell the pack to not call me Luna.

Rules be damned. Whether I was at the top of their metaphorical food chain or not, I didn't want to be treated like more than them. I was equal.

"I think Kyler and I are both ready," Lucian said, and I felt his eyes on me. "If you are, Nova."

I glanced at them, and Kyler gave me a subtle nod with a small tilt of his lips.

I'd already made my decision long ago. Though now that it was happening, I was feeling pretty nervous.

I blew out a long breath and nodded.

"Please sit in a line," the female said. "I was told you'll be studying my powers, master. Understand the reversal for this is the same. Same energy, same process. If at any point you'd like me to reverse the immortality from you so that you can feel it, all you need to do is ask."

I thanked her as Lucian sat to my left and Kyler sat to my right.

This was such a huge step. One I knew I wanted, and one I would remember forever. I didn't know if any of them got me presents, but they didn't need to. Not after this. They'd agreed to living forever with me. To be by my side and love me. And the anniversary of this would be on my birthday. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

I closed my eyes and allowed her power to wash over us, feeling as it trickled like little water droplets over my skin. I memorized the feel of it, how it danced across my bones and organs. How my heart felt as it wrapped around it. How relaxing it felt, even though I was giving up whatever else of my humanity I had left for immortality.

A smile tilted my lips as I realized that I was walking into my forever with Kieran, Lucian, and Kyler by my side.

For better or for worse.

** The End **

*****
A/N: I know there are bonus chapters, but it's just surreal to me to know that Grave Sight is done 😳 it's been such a huge part of my life for almost two years now. But I guess it's always a "wtf" moment whenever I finally write "The End" on a story 😂

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed Grave Sight as much as I've enjoyed writing it. There's a TON of editing and whatnot needed to be done, but that'll be saved for later. I'll be shifting my focus to Once Bitten for now (after the bonus chapters are done, of course).

A bonus chapter lineup will be posted next.

Thank you for reading Grave Sight. I appreciate all of you, as always ❤️
