i was visiting sardinia by myself in june of 1969, to escape my hectic life for a while. i had been trying to see the world at the age of 21 and that meant that being on my own was bound to happen.

i had a cute little villa to myself that had an open balcony leading to the swaying gorgeous water that occupied my backyard. i smiled softly to myself as i scanned the sand, seeing a few blurry dots, that obviously were people. scrunching my face up, i decided to join them. what would be the harm in that, right?

i went to go dressed in my gray bathing suit as i grabbed a floatie and towel before heading down to the beach.

"this weather is impeccable!" pattie sighed, floating on her back as george smiled, waddling closely beside her.

"yeah it's not too bad. it's beautiful out here, but it's even more beautiful with you." george smiled while pattie blushed turning her head to kiss him gently. he returned the kiss as i walked closer to the water.

both george and pattie glanced over at who was joining them. they both smiled at me as i held my hand up, indicating i was saying hi.

"hello there." george spoke up as he looked over my body. i glanced back at him, not catching his wandering eyes.

"hi! i hope you both don't mind me on the beach. the weather is so beautiful and i wanted to enjoy the water." i replied as pattie grinned,

"by all means darling. enjoy yourself! i'm patricia, and this is my husband, george harrison." she introduced as i grinned, nearly dying when i heard his name,

"george harrison of the beatles?!" i panicked as she nodded,

"yeah!" she smiled as i kept my composure,

"oh God! i'm like your biggest fan! and you're model pattie boyd! wow ok! hi! my name is julia gardner." i smiled as the two of them grinned,

"nice to meet you miss. gardner." george politely smiled while pattie did the same.

at this point, i was in the water swimming around them as we all made small talk. i couldn't help but notice george staring at me intently, a blush sprinkling itself across his face. luckily, pattie didn't pay much attention to that.

"so who're you with julia?" george asked as i glanced at the couple,

"i actually came here alone. i got a lot saved up so i took a vacation by myself. i'm 21." i smiled as pattie and george gasped,

"wow!" pattie smiled.

"yeah, i want to be an actress." i grinned while george looked me up and down,

"yeah, you'd make a great actress." he grinned as i blushed.

"so where's your villa located?" pattie asked as i pointed behind me,

"actually right there. i saw you both and figured it'd be cool to make some friends." i replied as i looked at her with squinted eyes. the sun beamed down on the three of us as my red highlights became visible to george,

"you have red highlights?" he asked as i nodded,

"yeah it's natural. it's because i'm a bit native american." i smiled while he blushed,

"really?! what tribes?"

"cherokee and croatoan." i grinned as he pouted a bit, out of interest.

"that's really cool." pattie smiled as george nodded,

"yeah."

the three of us continued our conversation as we swam some more.

later that night, i was getting ready for bed when i heard a knock at my door. i furrowed my brows together as i went to my door. it was george all by his lonesome as i opened the door.
