After a while of walking through the sewers, Cara sets Cordelia down and she walks behind the group, struggling to get her emotions under control. The Child fusses whenever she begins crying again and she tries to stay strong for him.

Cordelia had also tied the ends of the broken necklace together and put it on him. He held onto the Mythosaur skull pendant with one hand while the other was clutching Cordelia's shirt.

Suddenly, there's an explosion behind them. Cara grabs Cordelia and pulls her until she's even with herself and Karga. They hear footsteps and watch as light shines from around the corner. IG-11 and Din round the corner and Cordelia runs to them.

The droid takes the Child, and she wraps her arms around Din, letting out a shaky breath. He hugs her back, grateful to be back with her and the Child. After a moment he slides his hand up to cup her face, tilting her head to look at him.

"I'm sorry, Cyar'ika." He says. She shakes her head and rests her hand over his.

"Don't apologize for protecting us." She says. He brings her into a Keldabe Kiss, wishing for the first time that he could remove his helmet. Cara clears her throat after a moment, making them pull apart.

"We should get going." She tells them. They nod and Cordelia moves to Din's side, wrapping his arm around her shoulders to let him lean on her. They walk, turning the corner and reaching an intersection.

"Do you know which way to go?" Karga asks Din.

"No. I don't know these tunnels. I've only entered from the bazaar." He replies.

"Well, if we get the smell of sulfur and we follow it, it'll lead us up to the plains where the river flows." He says.

"And the Imps will catch us before we make it to the ship. We need the Mandalorians to escort us to safety." Din says.

"Ugh, this place is a maze." Cara says with a groan as they reach another intersection.

As they walked and the bacta spray begins to work, Din lifted his weight off Cordelia and slides his arm from around her shoulders to hold her hand.

"The bacta infusion is working." IG-11 says when he notices Din walking on his own.

"I'll try to find tracks." Din says. He looks around using the light from his helmet. "We're close." He says as he follows the tracks, pulling Cordelia with him. "Turn here." He says and they keep walking.

Din stops as the lights reveals a large pile of Mandalorian armor. He drops Cordelia's hand to turn off the light. He steps forward and kneels in front of the pile, grabbing one of the helmets. Cordelia moves towards him and places her hand on his back, letting him know that she's there for him.

"We should go." Cara tells him after a few moments.

"You go. Take the ship. I can't leave it this way." He says. "Did you know about this? Is this the work of your bounty hunters?" He asks Karga.

"No! When you left the system and took the prize, the fighting ended, and the hunters just melted away. You know how it is. They're mercenaries. They're not zealots." Karga says. Din stands.

"Did you do this? Did you?" He asks, getting in Karga's face.

"No!" He says. Cordelia moves and grabs Din's arm, trying to pull him away from Karga.

"It was not his fault." A voice says from farther down the tunnel. A Mandalorian steps out from a side tunnel as the group turns. "We revealed ourselves. We knew what could happen if we left the covert." She says. She grabs armor from the pile and places it on the cart behind her. "The Imperials arrived shortly thereafter. This is what resulted."
