Street lights flicker by, bathing the inside of the SUV limo in intermittent light as we cruise down the street. The thought of going to Bliss in this extravagance had me rolling my eyes but five minutes in its luxury has me converted!

Jonathan spared no expense. The cavernous SUV limo has enough room for half a football team yet offers us and our friends a high-end party atmosphere. Already we've picked up Anne, Jack, Natasha and Viktor, leaving Tony and Becca as our final stop.

I shimmy closer to Jonathan, tucking tightly against his side. He doesn't miss a beat in his conversation with Viktor but drapes his arm over my shoulder and trails his fingertips across my arm.

Life has changed so much over such a short time, but I find myself looking forward to what comes next. As much as I'll miss spending time with Jack this night will serve as one hell of a send-off as he chases his dream.

The limo parks and the doors open one last time. Tony is dressed in black slacks and a fitted charcoal button-up shirt and helps Becca in. She is dressed to impress with a barely-there black and red lace dress that's cut dangerously low.

"You should leave town more often, Jack," she teases. "I could get used to this!"

Becca and Tony take a seat next to us leaving plenty of room for twice as many people. Anne hands him a glass of scotch and something sparkly for her and the vehicle moves into motion once more.

"I'm going to miss this," Jack muses. He lays his head on Anne's shoulder and she tenderly rakes her nails through his hair.

"No, you won't, pup. You'll be too busy having the time of your life, living your dream." Anne tries to keep a lighthearted tone but there's a wistful longing in her voice.

Jack sits up straight and glares at her. He lifts her chin, drawing her gaze to his. "You're a fool if you think I could ever forget you, my Goddess."

Anne sucks in a sharp breath, her lips part but nothing comes out.

"There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about how lucky I am to have you in my life. Honestly woman." Jack shakes his head and sighs.

She blinks away tears that threaten to fall and fans herself. "If you ruin my makeup, I swear to Christ you won't be able to sit for a week after tonight!"

The car breaks down in laughter as the moment passes. Jack just flashes her a sly smile. "Promises, promises..."

"Jonathan, can we swing by the old club first? I forgot something." Anne smiles at him as mischief dances in her eyes.

Jack's in for it tonight!

Jonathan taps on the glass divider and mentions the detour to the driver then turns his attention back to me.

"You're quiet tonight." He draws me tighter to him and kisses the top of my head.

"I'm just enjoying the night... just hanging out with our friends... with you." I lift my chin and he takes the invitation, bringing his hand to cup my cheek as his lips capture mine.

"This is no doubt going to be a night to remember," he murmurs. I smile and steal another kiss as the limo pulls to a stop.

"Izzy, do you mind giving me a hand?" Anne arches her brow as a smirk tugs at her crimson lips.

"Of course," I breathe out. Jonathan chuckles but releases me, giving my butt a pat on my way out. I shimmy to straighten my dress out once I'm standing outside the vehicle. The black lace-covered, wine red dress has quickly become my favourite.

Anne walks us around the back of the club and fights with the lock before swinging the door wide. My chest tightens, realizing as we stroll in that this could very possibly be the last time I walk through these doors.

I've made so many memories here, far more good ones than bad. This place literally changed my life, for better and worse.

My jaw drops at the state of her office, toys and papers are strewn everywhere and half-packed boxes litter the floor. "We're you robbed?!" I tease.

"Funny girl," she chides. "Are you going to just stand there or help me look?" She gives me a pointed look that has me raising my palms in surrender.

"Right..." I move over to the nearest pile and frown. "What are we looking for?"

"My paddle." Anne tosses a pair of lace panties onto the desk as she empties the box she's working on. I can't hold back my laugh at the spectacle she makes.

"This one?" I hold up a dark, wide, wooden paddle with a triumphant grin.

"Not that one," she grumbles.

I dig through three more boxes and find five more paddles, all of them wrong. Each one gets tossed on her desk, leaving a catalog worthy collection.

"You may have a problem," I muse.

"Some women like shoes, I like toys." She shrugs.

"You know I've seen your shoe collection right?" I giggle. My ears prick at a barely-there sound but Anne doesn't react.

"There it is!" She marches right over to the door where a paddle hangs from the back. I roll my eyes but know better than to question her and head out.

Once more I hear something out front. "Do you hear that?" There's almost faint music coming from the main part of the building.

Anne arches a brow and looks at me like I'm crazy. I frown and cock my head to the side, straining to hear it again.

The softest trace of a melody makes it to me and tugs at some distant memory. Before I realize it my feet are already taking me forward almost as if I'm entranced.

I walk down the dark employee hallway towards the public area, following the melody. The closer I get, the clearer it is. The haunting piano melody is joined by a man's soft singing and draws me further.

Almost everything has been moved to the new club, leaving the space cavernous. In the dark, it looks even bigger but a light softly flickers, stealing all of my attention.

I walk over to it and see it's a little candle, what's more, is that there are little votives everywhere. Standing in the middle, my gaze lands on the dark silhouette of a man and the air is stolen from my lungs.
