*Charli POV*

I was exhausted when we got home the other day. We had stopped at Harry's house on our way back to visit Anne for a bit.

She was shocked when we walked in the door. Mostly because Harry had finally came home, and partially because she didn't quite recognize me.

"Harry!? Dear, I've missed you!" Anne's voice sang. She quickly wrapped herself around him, taking the tall boy in her arms.

"Hey mum," Harry chuckled. "I've missed you too."

"And who is this lovely girl?" she asked, looking at me with slight confusion.

"Mum, what the hell? That's Charli."

"Charli!?" she let out a small gasp, before quickly engulfing me in a hug. "I'm so sorry! I didn't recognize you, you've grown up so much!"

I couldn't help but laugh, "I feel like it's been almost ten years since I've seen you, Anne. I've missed you!"

"So you're the one occupying all of my baby's life. I should have known," she hummed and led us into the kitchen. "Robin has just gone to bed. He has to be at work for four in the morning tomorrow. I can go wake him-"

"No, mum. It's okay. I can see him another time," Harry quickly shook his head. "I just came here to say hi and check up on you."

"You're not staying?" a frown had made its way to her face.

"No-"

"Yes we are," I smiled and cut Harry off, who shot me a playful glare.

It's Thursday now, and we're laying in my bed, wrapped up in each other, with Wayne's World playing on the TV. However, both of us are too preoccupied to even pay attention to it.

"Do you have to work tomorrow?"

"Nope, I have the next few days off. What did you have planned?" his smile filled my view, which in turn caused me to smile.

"I was thinking of going to visit a friend. I need a bit of a change."

A frown suddenly appeared on his face and he slowly started to turn away. "I get it."

"Get what?"

"You realized you've had enough of me. I knew it would happen sooner or later. You need change. I can go-"

"Harry, no, no, no. I meant like she does hair. I want to go see her for a haircut, you donut."

"What? Why the hell wouldn't you just say that instead of making me panic?" his laughter filled the room and I smiled.

"I'm sorry. I didn't think about it. I guess I should have explained more-"

"No crap, Char. You almost made me freak out. How am I supposed to know she does your hair, and you're not actually sick of me? I don't know what I'd do if you-"

"Hey, hey. Calm down," I smiled and gave him a peck on his cheek. "I've never been sick of you. I don't think I ever could be, if I'm honest."

"You're sure?" he asked, slight hesitation in his tone. I nodded and watched his smile reappeared, and I couldn't help but lean in, wanting and needing to kiss him.

I don't know why all of a sudden it's all I want to do, but it's what feels right in the moment so I'm going with it. I've never wanted anything this much, and it's scary.

He sat up against the headboard and pulled me onto his lap, before leaning in and pressing his lips gently along my neck, slowly trailing his way from my jaw down my neck. A shiver runs down my spine when he plants a kiss directly above my collarbone.
