She looked at Lisa in disdain. “I spoke to the property agent, Liu Ling, who took you to view the apartment. She was also amazed that you were able to pay for it upfront despite your young appearance. Lisa, you even boasted to her that the money came from an old man! Everyone, let’s think about it. She spent an hour alone with Chou Zhiming, then left to check her account balance before buying an apartment… She must have gone to check how much money he had given her, correct?”

Lilan immediately acted dumbstruck. “Lisa, you used the money you received from a middle-aged man to buy a house? How could you do something so shameless!”

Eunha also had put on a disappointed expression. She reprimanded Lisa with heartache in her voice. “Since young, we’ve been raised strictly in the Lee home. We were taught to never do anything that would ruin our family’s reputation. Yet, you actually went ahead and indulged in improper relations with an old man. Third sister, you’ve really let us down!”

“That’s right.” Shuhai also lamented. “Lisa, although I’m not your father, I’m still your second uncle. You… ai!” He swung his arms down dramatically, as though Lisa had completely disgraced them.

Eunha took a peek at Jungkook who was seated there silently. To her surprise, he did not look to be the slightest bit angry. His expression was heavy and difficult to read. No one could figure out what was on his mind.

She gave Sana a look, indicating for her to try harder.

There was no way Jungkook would not notice their little exchange. The corner of his lips curved into a mocking smile.

Unfortunately, Sana assumed that he was mocking Lisa for being shameless. She immediately became excited. If she had known he was deriding her, she would have lost her smile.

Lisa glanced at Eunha, Shuhai and Lilan, one after another. “You three idiots! Who are you putting on this show for?”

“Who are you calling an idiot?” Lilan raged. “I’m your mother! Is there anyone who speaks to their mother the way you do?”

“Whoever responded to my words is the idiot.” Lisa smiled coldly. “Are there any mothers like you? Without clarifying the facts and only by looking at a few ambiguous photos, you assume that your daughter is being kept by an older man? Do you have the right to call yourself my mother?”

“…”

Lilan was stifled with anger. She wished to peel the damn wench’s skin out at this moment.

To keep a backdoor open for herself, she asked her daughter. “Then, why don’t you explain this situation to me? Where did the money come from? Why did you visit a middle-aged man’s home alone?”

Lisa had gone there to discuss proper business.

A new game had just been released overseas. It was named the Fantasy of War. At the moment, it was extremely popular abroad but had yet to be available locally.

According to her memory, this game would become extremely popular in China.

She wanted to obtain the rights to distribute the game in the country.

She had spent some money to gather the information and found out that the person-in-charge of the game’s distribution company, Mr. Abott was currently a guest in Chou Zhiming’s home.

Moreover, Chou Zhiming was the father of her classmate, Chou Tzuyu.

She had visited their home with the excuse of visiting her classmate. This opportunity had allowed her to meet Mr. Abott. For the past few days, they had met several more times to hold a discussion and she had finally managed to obtain the rights to distribute Fantasy of War in China with a five million dollars contract.

Lisa did not wish to go into much detail with the Lee family, or with Sana who was currently being used by her sister. “I went to Uncle Chou’s home to visit Chou Tzuyu, ah. I didn’t expect her not to be at home on that day.”

Sana was confused. “Chou Tzuyu?”

Tzuyu’s appearance was quite outstanding. However, she always maintained a low-profile. Still, they were all classmates and Sana was naturally familiar with her name.

“Chou Zhiming is our classmate, Chou Tzuyu’s father.”
