324.She Understood Her Brother's Feelings

“That’s true,” Lisa responded naively.

She glanced towards the kitchen and saw that Sehun’s back view was stiff.

She struggled to imagine her brother’s expression. She was certain that he was heartbroken.

“Don’t speak about it anymore…”

Since young, her brother never said such a thing to her.

Instead, her brother often told her, “Lisa, your voice is so sweet. Will you tell me more? Your brother loves hearing you speak!”

Jungkook saw that Lisa did not seem to notice Sehun’s despair. His furrowed brows relaxed gradually.

He refused to allow his own woman to be distracted by other men!

Lisa saw that Sehun seemed to be frozen for quite a few minutes. She felt that if she continued pretending to be a fool, she would be seen through. She raised her voice to ask him. “Brother, why isn’t the tap running if you’re washing the dishes?”

Sehun swallowed painfully and forced himself to respond in a normal tone. “I’ll open the tap now.”

“Your voice doesn’t sound right? Are you feeling unwell? I can wash the plates instead.” Lisa stood up from Jungkook’s lap. She had only taken a step when he tugged her back. “You’re not allowed to go. Why does my fiancée have to wash dishes? Arrange for a helper to do these chores!”

Sehun washed his face with some cold water and composed his emotions before returning to the living room. “There’s no need to trouble CEO Jeon. There’ll be a helper coming tomorrow morning to take care of these.”

Jungkook saw that his emotions were barely under control. He sneered coldly.

Since Lisa was unaware of Sehun’s feelings, he would not bring it up.

He did not wish to see Sehun lose control. He did not mind Sehun dying. He only feared that Lisa would be hurt.

He lifted his wrist and scanned his expensive, limited edition watch for the time. He tugged Lisa’s hand and firmly declared. “It’s late. I’m taking Lisa back to the Yu Ting Villa!”
