Lisa could not be bothered to listen to her nonsense any longer. She stood up and headed for the second floor.
Earlier, she had worked out in the gym for three hours and was covered in sweat. Her body felt very sticky and she wanted to take a shower desperately.
Lilan glared at her backview and raged. “Lisa, you are becoming more and more impudent. How dare you leave before I’m done speaking? How much money did your brother give you in total? Where did you find the money to sign up for the gym membership?”
But Lisa turned around the corner on the second floor without a care in the world. Lilan’s teeth nearly fell out from the way she was grinding them in anger.
“Mom, stop asking.” Eunha understood the fatty’s attitude. “That dumb trash has no intentions of answering you anyway!”
“This is all because you are useless!” Lilan jabbed her finger against her forehead and reprimanded her. “If you had succeeded in seducing Jungkook, would I have to suffer that wench’s arrogance?”
Eunha was similarly frustrated. “Stop blaming me! Aren’t you similarly helpless against her? You were clearly scheming against her, yet you returned with a ‘gift’ of red wine. Does your hand still hurt from that injury?”
“It’s mostly healed.” Lilan finally calmed down a little. But her expression was dark. “My daughter, that fat wench used to be easy to control. Unfortunately, it isn’t easy to deal with her now.”
“Hmph.” Eunha sneered. “Isn’t that because she is taking advantage of Jungkook’s support? Once she leaves Jungkook, she won’t have anything!”
“That is why, you must snatch Jungkook from her.” At the thought of becoming Jungkook’s mother-in-law, Lilan was extremely excited. She could only think of the glory and honor she would receive.
“Isn’t it time for our mid-term examinations soon?” Eunha smiled mockingly.
“Lisa’s grades have always been poor. She is almost always ranked the last in class. The two of us have set up a bet. Whoever performs worse will have to kneel down in front of the winner in the presence of Jungkook and address the other party as her grandmother! Think about it, Jeon Jungkook is such a powerful man. How could he possibly accept a fiancée who addresses someone else as her grandmother? Jeon Jungkook’s face would be totally lost!”
“If the Jeon family’s elders learn that Lisa knelt down in front of you and addressed you as an elder, how could they possibly still accept her into the family?” At the thought of this, Lilan became pleased.
“Eunha, you have to perform better than her! Then, the role as the Jeon family’s lady will surely become yours!”
Eunha’s expression was arrogant. She was completely unconcerned about the upcoming challenge. “Her grades are really poor, while your daughter is a genius. I’ll definitely crush her under my foot!”
“Still, you can’t lower your guard.” Lilan instructed her. “From tomorrow onwards, you have to go to school everyday. Take your lessons and revise diligently. Put everything else aside. It’s important that you do better than Lisa.”
“I got it.”
Lilan smirked and the corner of her eyes wrinkled in pleasure. “When Lisa loses to you and kneels down in front of Jungkook to address you as an elder, I’ll definitely arrange for a reporter to take pictures of the event secretly. I’ll let the entire city know about this. This way, she’ll never be able to lift her head up for the rest of her life!”
On the second floor, Lisa was about to head downstairs to retrieve something and coincidentally heard her words.
Lilan intended on making it impossible for her to raise her head for the rest of her life?

The next morning, at 7.00a.m., the Lee family’s doorbell rang incessantly.
“Eunha, Eunha!” Yerin called Eunha’s name repeatedly. “Quickly come out. I have something urgent to tell you.”
