Desperate

Lauren laid in her bunk thinking; which was always dangerous when it came to Lauren, while everyone else slept, everyone except Dinah.

"Pst, Lo are you awake?" Dinah whispered loud enough to capture Lauren's attention but quiet enough to not wake anyone up

"Yeah I'm awake." Lauren confirmed

"Can I come to your bunk?" She asked, her voice shaky

"Yeah sure." Lauren replied and Dinah moved over to Lauren's bunk quickly and quietly

"What's wrong? Why are you awake?" Lauren asked carefully

Dinah let her tears fall holding back a sob and Lauren gasped hugging Dinah rubbing her back soothingly

"Dinah what happened?" Lauren asked worriedly

"My great grandmother is dying." Dinah sobbed into Lauren's t-shirt, they were muffled but obviously noticed by Lauren

"I'm so sorry. Do you want to talk about it or just lay here with me?"

"I'd rather just lay here." Dinah sniffed wiping her eyes still hugging Lauren

"Do you want to stay in my bunk? There's room for two." Lauren offered and Dinah nodded accepting the offer

"Okay babe hold on." Lauren moved over pulling the thick fluffy blanket over her and Dinah, they both laid down together but Lauren still held Dinah in her arms

"Let's just go to sleep." Dinah mumbled

"Yeah it's pretty late." Lauren said checking the time on her phone

"Yeah, goodnight Lauren." Dinah yawned snuggling into Lauren's chest

"Night Dinah." Lauren smiled tracing lines up and down gently with her nails on Dinah's arm to soothe her as it always did. Dinah fell asleep within seconds at her gentle touch.

Lauren couldn't sleep so she just looked at her phone and decided to go on Twitter. Bad move.

Lauren scrolled through her notifications and saw a shit load of hate being thrown at her, she squeezed her eyes shut and covered them with both hands as her breathing shook

She needed to cut so badly but Dinah was cuddled up to her so she couldn't move, all she could do was cry.

"Mm Lauren?" Dinah mumbled waking up at the sounds

Lauren was crying so hard now that she didn't even hear Dinah wake up

"What's wrong?" Dinah asked removing Lauren's hands from her eyes

"I have to cut Dinah move" Lauren said through her gritted teeth, desperately trying to get past Dinah now she was awake

"Lauren look at me." Dinah said pulling Lauren back and staring into her sad eyes, they were empty, lifeless.
That scared Dinah so bad.

"Dinah please" Lauren cried but without moving this time, instead she just moved forward and hugged Dinah, praying her urges to go away

"It's okay Lauren, you'll be okay. It'll pass, just relax. I'm here" Dinah soothed Lauren as her cries became louder but she moved to muffle them in Dinah's shirt

"It hurts Dinah!" she cried

"I know baby I know" Dinah sighed holding Lauren tighter while she cried in her arms

Dinah was surprised when Lauren started shouting "No!" repeatedly gripping Dinah desperately
