"Who's ready for a kick ass show tonight?" Ally hollered, her voice echoing in the hall
"Ally we have 2 more hours till we go on. Find your chill and shut up." Dinah groaned
"Yeah Ally I have a headache." Camila complained closing her eyes
"What's wrong Camila?" Lauren asked worriedly going over to her
Camila was never sick, ever.
"It's fine, it'll pass." She swatted Lauren away from her
"Mila...is that a cut on your head?" Normani noticed and Camila swore her heart stopped in panic
"What?" She acted clueless
"I'm just gonna go get some water, I'm probably just dehydrated you know? Carry on with rehearsals." Camila said rushing to the bathroom
When Camila was safe behind the door she examined the gash on the side of her head which she thought she'd covered with her hair and makeup
She'd gone out yesterday and bumped into Austin who then took the opportunity he had to hurt her
Camila hated that she'd let him get away with it. She told herself she'd go to the police tonight, but first she had to pluck up the courage to tell somebody where she was going.
"Camz?" Lauren knocked on the door
"I'm coming!" Camila brought herself back to reality after hearing Lauren's voice
When Camila opened the door Lauren raised an eyebrow at her waiting for an explanation
"This isn't where you get water, come on. What happened?" Lauren said leaning against the door frame
"Austin happened." Camila sighed running her fingers lightly along the raised line with a wince at the pain
"He did this to you?" Lauren growled
"Yes Lauren. I've decided I'm going to the police after the show, will you come with me?" Camila asked more vulnerably than she anticipated
"Of course I will." Lauren nodded bringing her into her arms
"How do you feel Camila?" Lauren asked after a while of thinking
Camila furrowed her eyebrows at the question
"Well it hurts?" Camila answered the obvious
"No I mean about what he did to you, did you ever tell anyone how it made you feel?" Lauren asked her
"Can I tell you?" Camila asked in a small voice closing her eyes as she spoke to Lauren
"Go ahead." Lauren whispered laying her head on Camila's gently, she knew she'd have preferred not to look at her
"I felt, stupid, worthless..like trash I mean. Who does that? Uses someone as a punchbag, that's all I ever was to him. I was a worthless punchbag."
"Nobody in their right mind that's for sure, now listen to me, you're smart, you're beautiful and you're worth the absolute world." Lauren said taking her by the shoulders
Camila quickly shut them inside the bathroom and placed her lips on Lauren's and pulled away
Lauren was stunned, unsure what to do, still processing Camila's actions
"Camz I thought we agreed.." Lauren gulped in realisation
"Shut up." Camila whispered placing her lips back on Lauren's to which Lauren reacted this time, by kissing back
