Vulnerablity

"Lauren?" Dinah whispered shaking her awake gently

"What? Dinah." Lauren said through gritted teeth in irritation, this being the 3rd time she'd tried to wake her

"Camila's crying." Dinah answered

Lauren furrowed her eyebrows and opened her eyes to look at Dinah

"Didn't go well at the station I take it?" Lauren caught on

"She was crying all the way through talking to them, it was awful Lauren and she won't calm down it's been ages." Dinah said worriedly

Lauren sighed deeply rubbing her eyes waking herself up and getting out the bunk "What time is it?"

"Like 2 in the morning." Dinah answered painfully, wishing she was still getting her beauty sleep

"Go back to sleep Dinah, I'll sort it." Lauren said knowing Dinah wanted to

"Thank you. Goodnight Lauren." Dinah kissed her cheek and got into her bunk falling asleep almost straight away

When Lauren saw Camila she was huddled up in a ball on the sofa crying to herself, Lauren could feel her heart shatter at the sight

There was nobody there with her, everyone was in their bunks sleeping already, as Lauren was before Dinah woke her up.

Lauren gently lowered herself on the sofa next to Camila and wrapped her arms around her

"Lauren?" Camila said with a whisper

"Come here Camz." Lauren made the girl look up and shuffle into her lap

"What happened?" Lauren mumbled wiping Camila's tears from her eyes

"I needed you." Camila whispered gripping Lauren's shirt in her fists as she buried her head in Lauren's neck fighting another sob from escaping

"I'm here now, okay? I was a bitch to you earlier and I'm sorry. I heard about the police station with Dinah earlier.." Lauren hinted but that only made Camila sob harder

"No shh please don't cry" Lauren whispered as tears filled her own eyes holding the girl in her arms tighter

"They made me go over everything. It was horrible." Camila had refrain herself from shouting so it was muffled against Lauren's neck

Lauren closed her eyes stroking Camila's hair while she cried, she secretly wanted to kiss her troubles away, but she knew she couldn't.

Maybe that was what Camila wanted Lauren to do, but would it really be the best option?

"Camz look deep breaths okay? Calm down for me, look into my eyes." Lauren instructed Camila who moved her head from out Lauren's neck

"Look at me Camila." Lauren told her seriously, Camila finally met her eyes and Lauren snapped, crashing their lips together to which Camila had no hesitation in responding

"Why do you fuck with my head so much Camila?" Lauren groaned pulling away irritated by her lack of restraint

"I know what I want Lauren and so do you. Now it's just about being brave enough to take the risk." Camila said taking Lauren's hand in hers

"Do you trust me Lolo?" She asked

Lauren sighed deeply before nodding

"Then take the chance." Camila whispered leaning in "Please."

"Okay." Lauren whispered back reconnecting their lips

When they broke apart Camila smiled up at Lauren gently, a slight but meaningful smile
