Melody's P.O.V.

I exit the building where I've just had wrapped-up my photoshoot.

Still can't believe this shit.

Can't believe that I went from working all kinds of crazy ass odd jobs that I hated, to doing what I've always wanted in life. Modeling.

In a really weird way, I guess I've got Marshall to thank for that. After all, if I haven't been constantly photographed with him by all those damn gossip mags, then my agency might have never reached out to me with a bunch of jobs, after obviously seeing me in all those mags.

I suddenly was bombarded with jobs. After never even getting a call back.

Now, a lot of these magazines that wanted to photograph me, also wanted a little scoop on my relationship with Marshall, and it was painfully obvious to me that the only reason I was even called in for photoshoots, was for them to ask me questions about him.

I remained tight-lipped though. Better word, mute.

Despite the fact that Marshall and I haven't parted on the best of terms, I wasn't gonna sell him out just to further my blossoming career.

I did, however, accepted all of these job offers, cause why the hell not. That was what I had always dreamed of, after all.

And the more jobs I did, the more clients started asking for me. I guess people were finally realizing my talent and passion for modeling. Plus, it doesn't hurt that I'm not exactly ugly. Not to tut my own horn.

I even booked a few runway jobs. Being as short as I am.
