"Shehnaaz yahan par kyun so rahi ho beta? Or yeh bags?" Rajesh asked waking her up...

"Wo kamre mein neend nahi arehi thi toh bahir agayi.. Yahan par bethe bethe kab ankh lag gayi pata nahi chala..." Shehnaaz lied looking down...

"or yeh bags ko bhi neend nahi ayi andar hai na?" He asked with anger...and she kept quiet...

"beta main janta hun Sidharth naraz hai abhi lekin ab yeh tera haq hai tu apne haq ke liye bol... Ab wo tera pati hai toh tujhe hi sambhalna hai... Main janta hun tum dono ke liye bohat mushkil waqt hai lekin tu is tarah usko akela mat chor..." Rajesh sat beside her and made her understand...

" Lekin Papa... Mera matlab hai uncle mujhe nahi pata kya karna hai...main toh janti bhi nahi unko theek se... "Shehnaaz replied...

" yeh phir se uncle pe agyi beta tum "Rajesh looked at her surprised...

" nahi wo bas Sidharth ne kaha ke "she fumbled...

" acha acha samjh gaya... Beta tu abhi bas thora sa waqt de is rishte ko... Or chal main tera saman dusre kamre mein rakh deta hun... "Rajesh said standing up...and she smiled....

Sidharth woke up with a jerk... He had a nightmare and he was sweating...he calmed down and after that took a shower...

When he came out he saw his dad and Shehnaaz sitting and having breakfast...

"Aaja beta jaldi se breakfast karle" his dad spoke looking at him...

Shehnaaz looked at him.. He was wearing his police uniform and looking so handsome... She gulped and looked down....

"dad I am already late... Kha lunga bahar se..." Sidharth replied wearing his shoes...

Rajesh signalled Shehnaaz with his eyes and Shehnaaz understood "Main .. Main kuch bana du tumhe"... She asked... He looked at her "koi zarurat nahi hai..." he replied rudely and she pouted....

"bye dad..." Sidharth said and left... Shehnaaz left her food and got up... "uncle mein apne bags mein se kapde set karlu... Phir apke kamre ki safai kar dungi..." Shehnaaz excused...

"beta idher beth pehle meri baat sun..." uncle stopped her... And she sat there unwillingly...

"Tu bahu hai is ghar ki... Koi kaam wali nahi hai samjhi... Apne room ki safai mein karlunga..."he said and Shehnaaz pouted...

" apne ghar ke kaam karne se koi kaam wali nahi ban jaungi main or ap ne kaha tha na ab aap mere Papa ho... Toh phir... "Shehnaaz replied honestly...

" tu bhi Sidharth ki tarah hi hai ziddi... Chal main bahar se kitchen ka saman leke ata hun tu sambhal ab yeh ghar... "uncle spoke... And she smiled...

After dusting and setting the cupboard Shehnaaz sat on the bed thinking" Arun se bat karni hai kya karun.. Uncle se puchun par acha nahi lagega.. kal se woh bechare mera itna khayal rakh rahe hain abhi or nahi tang kar sakti unko... "

Shehnaaz came out and searched uncle but he was not at home... Suddenly the phone rang and Shehnaaz got startled... She sat on the sofa and received the phone..." he.. hello? "She spoke...

" dad kahan hain? "Sidharth closed his eyes frustrated and asked..." woh bah.. bahir gaye hain... Kuch saman lane... "she replied...

" Toh tumhe kisne kaha phone uthao..."he shouted and cut the call.. Shehnaaz pouted" Main wapis hi chali jaun pind... "she thought...

She was sitting there silently thinking about her life when the door opened with a thud and she looked up..." Where is dad? "Sidharth shouted...

" woh abhi tak nahi aye "she replied scarily...
