Everyone was quiet as Dream strummed a few notes on the golden strings before sighing. The nerves that had been threatening to swallow him finally began to simmer down.

Dream took a deep breath and began.

"The way you felt in my arms, our chemistry was sacred, oh, I fell for your charm I was so infatuated. But you left me in the dark and my heart completely vacant. Now I don't know, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh"

By the first note George was lost in the sound of his voice. Tommy smirked, having expected the wide-eyed reaction. Karl was resting on Alex's chest completely at peace. Alex was just happy to be there, Ranboo and Tubbo were the same way.

"Is your heart just preconditioned for brevity? I don't mean to accuse you of refusing longevity, but I cannot excuse you for abusing my empathy, my empathy,~" Dream's eyes were shut peacefully. "I can take rejection but you gave the impression that this was the inception of something real." "The way you felt in my arms, our chemistry was sacred, oh, I fell for your charm I was so infatuated. But you left me in the dark and my heart completely vacant. Now I don't know, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,"

Smiles filled the room

"How you could look me in the eye and tell me that you love mew hen you knew it was a lie. I was headed for Kentucky when you called to say goodbye. How did I not see it coming? Now I don't know, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh"  "Maybe I'm the one to blame, have a tendency for always ignoring my brain when it says to me that someone's been manipulating my empathy, my empathy.~ I can take rejection but you gave the impression that this was the inception of something real"  "The way you felt in my arms our chemistry was sacred. George was lost in the sound of Dream's voice, it seemed as though everyone was.

"I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know. "The way you felt in my arms our chemistry was sacred. Oh, I fell for your charm I was so infatuated. But you left me in the dark and my heart completely vacant. Now I don't know, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh"

Dream strummed through the last notes with a new sense of adrenaline, the excitement of playing his songs was enough to make him feel invincible.

He was on such a high that he completely forgot he was playing for others. The sound of clapping made itself known, he heard the sound before he saw it. Dream's eyes flew open, fear now present on his furrowed brows.

He spared a glance at George, who was smiling like an idiot while clapping. Dream smiled back, and he felt comfortable.

"I'm tired now," Dream announced to his crowd.
George giggled at this, standing and walking over to Dream's chair to give him a hug.

"Thank you."
