It was great being back in Korea. It's the middle of the night but I still have stuff to do. I'd ask Naroo to drive Bella home but I'm sure he'd want to be with Anne right now. Luckily Kao volunteered and Ludo did too.

I'd said bye to Pan as he, Bella and Ludo climbed into Kao's car that was waiting for him when he landed. Naroo already called a car to his location and it was waiting for him and Anne, the driver was someone I didn't recognize but Naroo did have a life outside missions.

Naroo called Anne his wife, they aren't married yet, is he planning something        ¤♡ ¤

Oh. my. god. how did I not notice that?! how dumb am I? Jesus I wish I wasn't elbow deep in shit right now.

What do we even have to do?

Talk to the school kids about what happened and lie about why, then find God Dog and the guy Jin Jang, he better be a fucking challenge or I'm gonna be pissed.

Let's feed him to one of Naroo's pets.

He has pets?

He has a picture of him hugging a panther and tiger as his wallpaper on his phone.

He has a tiger and panther?!

Yep.

Damn.

I slide into my car, sigh before turning it on and start making my way to Daniel's house.
The ride was long, and boring, the silence made it harder than usual for me to keep myself from thinking about... well things.

What lie could I tell that would explain why people tried to kill them. I could blame it on that guy Charles Choi, or maybe say that it was a local gang that might have wanted to rob the place expecting it to be empty.

I'm surprised that Daniel came out of that situation almost unscathed. Him, Jay and the others must've been terrified. I can't even imagine how they must've felt, how Pan felt.

Honestly, I'm curious about how Poppy's gonna handle this, I mean she didn't kill anyone but she watched, it's a scary thing for a kid to watch...to watch someone barely older than you rip someone's head off..... I can't....how did I even manage to.....do it? it should be physically impossible.

How much of my training was just me trying to get stronger and faster while doing everything possible without letting the other person know.
I feel like my mind doesn't really fit into any normal box but somehow it does at the same time.

The car pulls up next to the front door, its lights are still on. I hope Daniel's home. He seems to be the ringleader of trouble at school, like he follows it, any other kid would ignore the problems, not like it's their responsibility.

"Hello?" I call out as I reach the door, I don't hear any sound coming from inside but I still wait a few seconds before knocking. The door slowly opens revealing Daniel, small Daniel.

He wiped the sleep from his face and stared up at me. a nervous smile wavered across his face, landing at an awkward smirk.

"h-hey..y/n... I didnt know you were gonna stop by today"

"Well I wanted to see if big Daniel was ok, he said he was going on a trip to see someone later today and last I saw he was passed out in a burning house"

"Oh! yeah, he's sleeping right now! should I go wake him?"

"no, no, actually, I'd like to talk to you"

".....oh..would y..you like to come in?"

"sure, thanks" I walked past him, the place was small, nice, I had one similar around when I first got the big missions. from what I know, it's perfect and affordable.
