It was the next week, and things had been more than okay. For once, there wasn't anything really crazy happening, which at my school... and my friends.. didn't happen.. like at all. Anyways, the first bell had just rung, and I was coming down the stairs from the library when I saw Beck and Robbie.
"Whoa... that's insane!" Beck exclaimed, looking at something on Robbie's pearpad.
"Hey," I greeted, smiling at him as I descended down the staircase.
He glanced up from Robbie's pearpad, "Hey babe, I was just looking for you." He said, gesturing at me as I walked up beside him. He wrapped his arm around my waist as Robbie showed me what they were looking at.
"Pearmaps upgraded their app!?" I asked, glancing at him.
"Mhm," He nodded, "Wait, wait, wait watch what happens when I zoom in!" He grinned, before zooming in closer.
"No way." Beck said, looking at him.
"Yeah!"
"Hi!" Cat greeted, coming down the stairs.
"Hey Cat." I smiled, glancing at her.
"Oh, and now you can turn it this way..." Robbie continued showing us, not taking his eyes off the pearpad.
"Oh man, this is blowing my mind." Beck looked at Robbie.
"Hiii!" Cat repeated, a little more aggressive.
Robbie looked at her, smiling. "Hey Cat."
"Hey." Beck murmured, still looking at Robbie's pearpad.
"What are you guys looking at?" Cat asked, looking at Robbie's tablet.
"Pearmaps upgraded their app now you can look at any place in the whole world!" He explained.
"In super high rez." Beck added.
"No way!" Cat said before looking at Robbie. "I don't get it."
"Show her." Beck said as I laughed.
Robbie moved his pearpad closer to her, "See, here's an overhead shot of our school..." He muttered, showing the Asphalt Cafe.
"Cool!"
"And now I'll just zoom in..."
Cat let out a gasp as he zoomed in, "I'm falling!" She exclaimed, making us look at her.
"What, you guys looking at the new Pearmaps app?" Jade asked, walking down the stairs.
"Yeah, now you can zoom in from any angle." Robbie said, showing her as she looked over his shoulder.
"Oh my God, that's where we eat lunch!" Cat exclaimed, pulling the tablet closer to her.
"Yeah! The Pearmaps satellite must have taken this shot a few months ago."
"From space." Beck added, pointing up.
Cat looked up at the ceiling, surprised, before waving. "Hi!"
"Cat, baby, we're inside." I said softly, bringing her hand down. She looked down confused, as I shook my head.
"Hey! Is that us?" Beck asked, pointing at one of the lunch tables shown on the Pearmaps app.
"Oh my gosh, that is us!" Robbie exclaimed as I looked. It sure was!
"Oh yeah, I'm wearing my red boots." Jade said as Beck, and I looked closer.
