Good thing their house has a wide roof top. Doon nag-land ang chopper niya, this was the most fastest travel she ever had, and she's just on time for dinner.
She stretch her neck and yawn while riding the elevator. Hindi siya nakatulog sa plane dahil abala siya sa pagpaplano kung paano pataasin ang sekuridad sa kasal nila ni Magnus para walang makalusot.
The elevator opened. Nasa unang palapag siya and he saw Magnus sitting on the sofa in the living room. Abala ito sa laptop pero agad rin nag-angat ng tingin ng makita siya.
His eyes scanned on her body. He's probably looking for wound, and he can't find none. Nagbihis na rin kasi siya kaya wala ng bakas ng dugo.
"Any cuts?" Tanong nito at binaba ang laptop sa may mesa. Tumayo ang binata para lapitan siya.
"Not at all." She shrugged and headed to the kitchen. Sumunod naman sa kanya amg binata.
Nakahanda na ang dinner nila. He probably estimated her arrival. Mainit-init pa ang kanin at ulam. Akala ba niya hindi ito marunong magluto?
"Make sure this is not poisonous." Sabi niya ng maupo at inabot ang ulam.
And Magnus just respond with,
"Tss."
Umupo na ito sa harap niya, they're both quiet as they eat their dinner. Mukhang nahalata nitong she refrain from talking while dining.
He cooked adobong manok, amd she had no complain with the taste. Masarap. And she's wondering if he really cook it? Kasi impossible naman na ganito kasarap ang first timer na magluto?
"You cooked this?" Hindi niya napigilang magsalita sa nagdududang tono ng matapos silang kumain.
Natigil ang binata sa pagligpit ng plato. Magnus looked at her flatly.
"I didn't sweat for 1 hour trying a perfect dish just to doubt me, wife." He said blankly.
Nag-kibit balikat na lang siya sa sinabi nito. Malay ba niyang mag-i-effort ito ng ganoon. Wala naman sa ugali ni Magnus.
"Stop that. I know what you're thinking." Magnus hissed coldly.
"What? Am I not allowed to be surprise knowing that an arrogant bastard made an effort?" She coldly mocked.
"Is thank you so hard for you to say it, Hera? Even just a kiss will do." Pagsusungit nito pabalik.
She frowned at him. Kinunutan lang siya ng noo ng binata at patuloy ito sa pagligpit ng pinagkainan nila saka pinasok sa dishwasher machine.
"Go upstairs and sleep. I know you're tired." Malamig na saad nito.
His coldness is more than the usual. Nagalit ata sa nasabi niya. But since when Magnus become sensitive? Palagi naman silang nagbabangayan dati and she always lose. Now that she mocked him, nagtatampo agad? Nagtatampo? Is that even a right word? The Magnus Sebastian is sulking?
Shouldn't she be celebrating that she finally irritate Magnus?
Napatikhim siya at napaayos ng upo. Magnus is washing his hand, his back is facing her.
"Masarap...masarap ang niluto mo, Magnus."
Magnus stilled for a bit then continue washing. Pinatay na nito ang tubig saka tinuyo ang kamay gamit ang hand towel bago humarap sa kanya. And his face isn't that cold and bothering anymore. It lit up a bit.
"Really?" Malamig na tanong nito.
Galit-galitan pa rin? Hindi bagay sa 'yo, Magnus.
"Do I have to repeat it?" Masungit tanong niya at tumayo na.
