A/N: Well, I wrote my entire note for this day in the previous upload sooo I don't have much to say lol. It's a double upload today so it's still a win ;)

Karma's POV
She's so young.
This can either make the mission a hell of a lot easier or just simply hell.
I put my hand on her back, rubbing it in circles as she cries softly.
Who knows what she saw?
"What's your name?" Ryu asks her, kneeling in front of her.
She sniffles, "Vanya."
"Well, I'm Ryu and these are my friends." Ryu gestures to the rest of us, sending us eye signals to be nice.
Vanya picks her head up and looks around. Her curls are falling out of her ponytail and her tanned skin is shiny from sweat.
We all give her a sad smile and wave.
I know what will cheer her up.
"Hey Vanya, I'm Karma. Do you like gum?" I try my best to be as nice as possible despite my emotional exhaustion.
She nods, wiping a tear. Her chin is white from dried ones.
I sure hope I still have some. I open my bag and pull out my pack of gum from day one.
"Here," I hand a piece to her.
She hesitantly takes it, "thanks."
I look at Ronan, who's growing impatient. The girl he partnered with completely ditched as soon as the game ended.
He approaches the table and leans on it causing Chishiya to walk elsewhere.
"Hey, kid. We know a safe place that's welcome for everyone. We have food, electricity, showers, and even a pool." Ronan talks to her like a child who's barely learning the alphabet.
"I'm a kid, not a toddler, dipshit. I don't care about your pool." She turns to me, "you have food?"
I really like her.
Ronan scoffs "I was trying to be nice."
He then walks off to sit at a table on the other side of the café, basically pouting.
"Yeah, we have food," I smile, "and music."
Her exhausted eyes light up, "really?"
I chuckle. "Why of course! How else would we stay sane?"
Ryu can't help but smile at the interaction and she lets out a yawn.
"We should get back. You coming or not?" Chishiya says to Vanya from the counter.
"Am I allowed?" Vanya looks to me.
