Im proud of my ability to learn quickly. Im also proud of us and this little community of Kishiya stans we have. It's one of the highlights of my life right now. Tears. In a good way.

Chishiya's POV
"Just sign on the dotted line," Dr. Kano gestures to the untouched pen and paper that magically appeared on the table.
Karma looks just as confused as I do, and she lunges towards the pen and paper, snatching them both off of the table. She tears the second paper in half and crumbles it, tossing it on the floor.
Grabbing the second pen, she then throws both pens in the corner of the room. Her neck is still bleeding.
"Come here," I tell her, unable to get over the fact that she has an open wound. If she's an illusion, whatever.
She's real to me.
I tear the stupid red t-shirt that I wear and tell Karma to hold it over her self-inflicted wound. She complies, only slightly smiling with her eyes as if she's relieved, and she straightens her posture to look at Mira.
Her eyes widen and her eyebrows furrow.
When I look to where she's looking, I freeze in thought.
The pen and paper are back on the table.
"Dr. Shuntaro, all we need is a signature. Come on, I have other patients to attend to. As a doctor you should understand to respect our time."
Karma and I look at each other and I swear she's real. She has to be. How else would she interact with objects?
But the pen and paper.
If the pen and paper never move, how can she be-?
I try my best to communicate with her without uttering a word. She evidently receives the message and she nods without really nodding. I can just tell she's communicating back.
I see it in her eyes. How would an AI even comprehend an interaction like this?
If this truly is fake, they did a remarkable job at imitating a real person.
Dr. Kano then sighs and points the remote at the screen, switching the screen to a live security feed of my apparent room. I look at it, then I look up at the camera.
In the footage, it's definitely live because I wave my arms to make sure of it. Dr. Kano is in the footage as well.
Now, why isn't Karma in it?
"Karma, move or something," I instruct her.
Karma does the most ridiculous thing I've seen anyone do in my entire life.
