Author's POV:

It's been five months since that dreadful incident took place. It took Arjun 28 hours to come into consciousness. Arpita was badly shaken by this incident. She never, even in her dreams, expected that her brother would take such a drastic step and decide to end his life. She was badly hurt by his decision. She knows that he was beyond broken by whatever happened, but committing suicide isn't a solution to his pain. She knows that her brother truly loved her once, and her betrayal has devastated him badly. But aren't there people, apart from her, who love him immensely? His parents, his sisters, his brothers, his grandparents, his cousins, his best friends—in short, there is a big family that loves him, trusts him, respects him, and truly cares for him.

Arjun is slowly coming out of his trauma. He is attending counselling, which is definitely helping him to come out of his grief a little. He knows that no matter what happens in the future, he will remember that day and her betrayal. He is still trying to accept the fact that she hasn't loved him and that it's nothing but an act of her to get a luxurious life. He hasn't seen his niece and nephew yet. He was afraid that he would hurt them too, just like he hurt his family.

Arpita shook her head and looked at her babies, who were sleeping peacefully after having a bath and their feed. Today is their annaprashan ceremony and also their naming ceremony. They haven't performed the babies' naming ceremony either until now, as everyone is slowly coming out of grief. Yash came inside the room to check whether his little family was ready or not.

He saw her sitting on the bed and wearing her jewellery. He went and sat in front of her, making her look at him.

"Is everything ready?" asked Arpita.

"Everything is ready, and everyone has come and is waiting for you and the babies," said Yash.

"Hmm! Just a few minutes," said Arpita.

"Did they have their feed?" asked Yash.

"Yes! That little princess of ours is already stubborn. She is throwing tantrums to have her feed. Madam wants to play with her toys and then try to crawl. I'm sure once she starts crawling, we have to run behind her," said Arpita.

Yash chuckled, listening to her. True, his princess is going to keep everyone on their toes. He looked at his little princess, who was sleeping peacefully and hugging her little brother.

"They are looking cute in traditional attire," Yash said, admiring his babies.

Arpita looked at him and said, "They went after their Appa. So, obviously, our babies are the cutest."

Yash looked at her and said, "Is it? I thought they were adorable, like their Amma."

Arpita shook her head and said, "Okay! They have both of our genes. So, they are sweet, lovely, and adorable, just like their sweet and cute Appa and beautiful and naughty Amma. Happy?"

Yash laughed loudly while listening to her. He shook his head at her antics. This woman of his is a bundle of joy in his life.

"Thank you, Aru! Thank you for everything. For accepting my love, for never leaving my hand, for being my strongest support, for trusting me, for respecting me, for loving me unconditionally, for marrying me, and for becoming the mother of our babies. I just can't thank you enough, Aru. You are the best thing that has happened in my life," Yash said, getting emotional.
