Yash opened his eyes slowly and stretched his arms lazily. He looked around for his wife and children. But they are nowhere to be seen. He sighed and sat on the bed when his eyes fell on the pink note that was stuck to his phone. He picked up the note and read it.

Hey Yash!

I guess you woke up and didn't find me and the babies in the room. I told you yesterday that I have a meeting to attend, right? So, I went to the office and might come around 3 p.m. Don't wait for me; have your lunch. Our babies are with Thatha and Ammamma. I have already made them bathe. Do look after them; I know you will, but I'm still telling you. I have breastfed them in the morning and will feed them in the evening. Feed them mashed fruits around 10 a.m. They will have their lunch around 12:30 p.m. I know you will take care of them, but I'm just informing you once. I just hate these Saturdays and Sundays. Everyone will feel happy, as they could enjoy themselves at the weekends, but here I'm working on the weekends. I'm sorry. I know you wanted to spend time with me, but for the past six weeks, we have been unable to spend our time properly. It's just that I don't want to leave our babies with a nanny when they haven't even turned one. I hope you understand. I know you will. I will definitely make it up to you soon. Until then, spend quality time with Thatha, Ammamma, and our babies. I have prepared your favourite breakfast today. So, quickly finish all your morning chores and have your breakfast. Don't forget to keep an eye on our babies when they awake. They are unpredictable, and they create a storm if they are in a bad mood or a good mood. Keep your mobile, iPad, laptop, headphones, and other gadgets out of their reach. If, by chance, they have seen them, the next moment you will find them in pieces. I'm telling you from experience. I know I tell you the same thing almost every week, but I just can't help it. Love you. Take care of yourself and our little family.

With lots of love,
Yours Aru.

Yash chuckled, reading the note. It is true that she has been telling him the same thing for the past six weeks. She is going to the office on Saturday and Sunday, as Yash would be at home those two days. She can take her babies to the office, but she doesn't want to, at least not before they turn one. She couldn't manage everything from home, and it's been almost a year since she stepped into her office. She can't neglect her work and leave everything to Meena. There are some projects that require her presence.

He got off the bed, folded the comforter, set the bed properly, and moved to the bathroom, grabbing his towel. After a while, he came out of the bathroom, moved to the closet, and wore his track pants over his boxers. He grabbed his mobile and water bottle and moved to the gym room.

After an hour, Yash came downstairs after freshening up. He saw his grandfather playing with his hyperactive daughter while his grandmother was keeping an eye on his son, who was playing with his toys.

The twins are 10 months old now, and they are keeping parents on their toes most of the time as they learn to crawl quickly. If, by chance, we turn our heads away from them for ten seconds, we have to start searching for them, mostly Vansh, as he falls asleep after crawling for some time in any place.
