Author's POV:
It was the day before the twins' birthday. Arjun has locked himself in the room for three hours, making everyone worried. They know that that day still haunts him. After having lunch, Maya started to bake cakes for the twins with the help of Sravya. Avinav, Suhaas, Pranav, and Nandan are looking after the decorations under the supervision of Anjali.
Siri and Vikram would return from school in the evening. Yash had to leave for the college as there was an important seminar. Akarsh and Nayana are playing with the twins. Surekha and Sakshi are keeping an eye on them. Jhansi is busy attending a call with her client. Janaki and Vani are supervising the workers, who are packing the gifts that they bought for the orphanage kids.
Harinath, Revathi, Raghu, Radha, and Gayatri are resting in their respective rooms.
"Did you talk with the caterers?" Janaki asked, looking at Arpita, who had just come down.
Arpita sat beside them and said, "Yeah!"
"Are you inviting anyone from your office?" asked Janaki.
"Just four or five members. That's it," said Arpita.
"Okay!" said Janaki.
They were talking when they heard shouts from the kitchen. They moved to the kitchen and saw Maya glaring at Avinav, whereas Sravya was giggling while looking at them.
"Avinav Krishna, get out of the kitchen right now before I throw you out," Maya said, flaring her nose.
But our Majnu found her cute and was busy ogling her, forgetting that she was angry at him. He came out of his dreamland as soon as he saw her glaring at him.
"Bunny, this is not fair. You can't throw me just like that," Avinav said, stomping his feet like a kid.
"Anna, she told you that she would call once the cake was ready, right? So, why are you irritating her by coming into the kitchen every ten minutes and asking her for the cake?" Sravya said, controlling her laughter.
"Don't go between them, Chinnu. In the end, three of them will make us fools. They can tease each other, but don't let the others say a word to them," said Arpita.
"Yeah! How can I forget about these three idiots?" said Sravya.
Avinav gave her a proud look and said, "Now that you have remembered, kindly help your lovely brother."
"I'm out of it, Anna," Sravya said, turning around.
Maya looked around, took a rolling pin, and said, "Are you going or not?"
"I'm not afraid of those glares, okay?" Avinav said, rolling his eyes. He then looked at Janaki and said, "Atta, ask your daughter to bake my cake fast. I'm tired from doing all the work."
