Author's POV:
It's been two weeks since the twins celebrated their first birthday. Everyone is back to their routines and busy with their schedules. Coming to our little family, Varsha's fever reduced the next day, but then Vansh fell sick for two days. Yash is busy as the semester exams are going on. They appointed a nanny to look after the twins as Arpita was going to the office.
Arpita finished her work early so that she could leave home early. Her babies are missing her, and even she is missing spending time with them badly. She sighed and shut down her system. She stood up and stretched her body a little. She is having a terrible headache, and she badly needs some coffee. She grabbed her things and locked the cabin.
She came out and noticed everyone was busy with their work. She went to Meena's cabin directly and saw her busy on a call. She kept the bag on the table, sat on the couch, and closed her eyes, leaning her head back.
Meena finished the call and asked, "Tired?"
"Yeah! I badly need a cup of coffee," said Arpita.
Meena chuckled, listening to her, and said, "You and your obsession for coffee."
Arpita rolled her eyes and said, "Just like your obsession for tea."
"Okay, okay! Let's leave that. How are Varsha and Vansh?" asked Meena.
"They are doing good. Trying to walk without support. How are Akki and Nayana?" said Arpita.
"They are good too," Meena said, smiling.
Arpita looked at her and asked, "How is your married life going on?"
"It's the same as it was once. I'm glad that there isn't any awkwardness between us after the marriage. I thought I would lose a friend," Meena said, sighing.
"Umm, did he know about your feelings for him?" asked Arpita.
"No! We are getting used to the fact that we are now married and the parents of Akarsh and Nayana. I don't know what the future has stored for me, but for now I'm a happy mother of two children," Meena said, thinking about Akarsh and Nayana.
"Okay! I'm leaving. I forgot to inform you that the meeting with Mehta's went well and we bagged the deal. I've mailed you the details; check them once when you are free," said Arpita.
"The meeting is supposed to be held after two days, right?" asked Meena.
"Yeah! But due to some issues, they have preponed it and asked whether we are okay with it or not. So, yeah! It's done," said Arpita.
"Okay! I'll check them later. Bye!!" said Meena.
"Finish your work fast and go home. You need to spend some time with your in-laws, Akki and Nayana. Don't stress too much; I'll manage," said Arpita.
