Author's POV:
Arpita was getting the twins' bags ready, as all of them had planned to go out. Maya and Aashi were getting the twins ready for their outing. The boys are waiting downstairs for the girls.
"Aww, Vansh, you look so cute," Maya said, kissing Vansh's cheeks.
Varsha made an irritated face, while Arpita and Maya chuckled, looking at her. Vansh giggled, looking at his sister's face.
"Don't poke or pull her cheeks. She hates that," said Arpita.
"Okay!! Sorry, Varshu," Aashi said, looking at Varsha.
Varsha smiled, looking at Aashi, and kissed her cheeks.
Arpita looked at Aashi and asked, "By the way, Aashi?"
"Yeah, Di," Aashi said while setting Varsha's head wrap.
"What did you like about that boring man?" asked Arpita.
Aashi looked at Arpita for a second, then continued her work and said, "He isn't that boring."
Arpita smirked and said, "Is it?"
"Yeah!" said Aashi.
He might be arrogant, rude, reserved, and boring to the outside world, but for her, he is the most caring, loving, a little childish yet mature, naughty, full of life, and patient one who listens to all her blabbering without any complaints and who never fails to surprise her with his cute gestures. She has heard a lot about Suhaas from Maya and Pranav, mostly from Pranav, but she has never, in her dreams, thought that one day she would fall in love with her best friend's brother. She liked him the moment she saw him for the first time on her college campus, when he came to meet Pranav, Maya, and Surya. Slowly, his visits became frequent, and her feelings had become strong, and she didn't even realise when she had deeply fallen in love with him. She was hesitant to accept her feelings at first, but then the thought of imagining him with someone else broke her heart.
Aashi was lost in the thoughts of Suhaas when Arpita and Maya looked at each other. Maya is happy for her best friend as Suhaas is able to break the wall that Aashi has created around her, while Arpita is happy for her best friend as she is able to witness a glimpse of old Suhaas, who disappeared into the air after the divorce of his parents.
"Ahem!!" Arpita coughed, bringing Aashi out of her thoughts.
Aashi looked at her and gave her an awkward smile. Maya gave her a mischievous smile, while Aashi glared at her.
Aashi bent a little towards Maya and whispered, "Don't you dare tease me, boyfriend; otherwise, I won't hesitate to go to your Avi and tell him about your feelings."
