Author's POV:
After a few days, we can see Varsha praying in front of Tulsi Kota. Arpita, who was putting rangoli in front of it, smiled, looking at her daughter. After doing puja there, both the mother-daughter duo went inside. Varsha followed her mother, holding her mother's dupatta end. Arpita smiled, looking at her daughter's antics. She went to the puja room and put the flower basket there. She has already cleaned the puja and put a rangoli there. She decorated the pictures of God with flowers and gestured for Varsha to do the same.

After that, Arpita went to the kitchen to prepare prasadam. She saw Yash cooking Payasam just like he does every year on this day. She gestured for Varsha to not make sounds and hugged Yash from the back, making him startle. He got relaxed after feeling her warmth.
"Good morning," greeted Arpita.
Yash kissed her hands and said, "Good morning."
"How far has your Payasam come?" Arpita asked, peeping into the vessel.
"I added rice and moong dal a few minutes ago," said Yash. "Acha, where did you keep Elaichi? I didn't find them."
"Wait, I'll get them," said Arpita, and she went to get some elaichi.
"Amma! Appa!" Varsha said, gaining their attention.
"Uffo! Come here," Arpita said, picking up Varsha in her arms.
She made her sit on the kitchen counter, gave her soaked nuts, and asked her to eat them. Arpita then took some cardamom pods and started to grind them with a small motor and pestle.
Varsha gave a toothy smile to Arpita and said, "Amma, I'll do that."
"No, Kanna! Last time, you were about to put that pestle on your finger. So, sit silently and eat those soaked nuts," said Yash.
Varsha pouted, listening to her father.
She looked at her mother and said, "Amma!"
"No! Varshu. Your Appa is right. I'm not going to take the risk," Arpita said sternly, making Varsha huff.
