Author's POV:

Suhaas went to Arpita's office to pick her up, as Yash said that he would arrive late. He stepped inside the office and directly went to Arpita's cabin. He knocked on the door and opened it as he heard "Come in." He saw her explaining something to her juniors. As soon as she saw him, she asked him to wait for 15 minutes. Suhaas nodded his head and sat there, going through a magazine.

After 20 minutes, Arpita looked at her juniors and said, "We will discuss the rest tomorrow. Ad also make the changes that I have told you now."

"Sure, ma'am," said Juniors.

"Umm, Nisha Agarwal, right?" Arpita said, pointing at the girl wearing a red suit.

"Yes, ma'am," said Nisha.

"Miss Nisha, I pay you for working not to ogle at him. It would be better if you paid attention to the details that I was explaining, not my best friend. I know that he is handsome, and you can't take your eyes off him, but that doesn't mean you keep on gawking at him without concentrating on your work," Arpita said, glaring at Nisha.

Suhaas chuckled, listening to Arpita, while Nisha stood there, embarrassed.

Nisha looked down and said, "Sorry, ma'am."

"Hmm. You guys may leave," said Arpita.

After they went out, Arpita started to pack her things.

Suhaas put the magazine aside and asked, "What was that?"

Arpita looked at him and asked, "What?"

Suhaas looked at her and said, "That was mean."

Arpita narrowed her eyes and said, "Yeah! You are so mean. Instead of thanking your bestie for shooing away creeps away from you, you are scolding me."

Suhaas shook his head, listening to her, and said, "Why am I even arguing with you? I don't know how my buddy is handling you."

Arpita twisted her mouth in annoyance and said, "Your buddy should thank God for giving him a wife like me. Now, stop pitying your buddy; come and help me."

"Rakshasi (the devil)," mumbled Suhaas.

Arpita glared at him and said, "I heard that."

Suhaas gave her a tight-lipped smile and said, "Good then."

"You!" Arpita said, pointing her finger at Suhaas.

Suhaas hit her head lightly and said, "You should respect elders, Aru. And I'm older than you."

"Just a few months older than me," said Arpita.

"Even a few seconds matter," Suhaas said, smiling cheekily.

"Argh! Why am I even arguing with you?" Arpita said, irritated.
