Before I knew it, he had gone all the way from the reality of the world to the atoms of a table.

"To conclude, human beings are not rational, we will favor ethics over rationality."

The professor closed his book with a smirk and turned to me. A shiver ran down my spine. I was doomed.

"So how was it, Kreiburg?" he asked while putting his things away from the desk, back in his suitcase.

"I'm not confident I can carry on the task as well as you, sir."

"You don't have to be like me, just follow your own pace."

The professor left the classroom and I followed him. It has been a few weeks now since I started assisting him during his classes. The professor, Luchino Diruse, a famous man with countless PhDs, is a very knowledgeable man and I respect him a lot. I heard he didn't need an assistant and never had one before, so I was surprised he accepted my demand.

I've learned a lot from him already in this short period, and about him too.

The professor is single.

Some would say it's a waste. I think it's a good thing. As it is, I'm probably the person who spends the most time with him.
