"Belay!" Marion shouted, lowering herself, rappelling along the footholds, dropping deeper into the more unstable section of the ancient ruin and quarry.
Her feet reached the ancient supports spears of the trap.
"Marion! Don't move! Stay right there! I'm coming!" Indy scrambled to the edge and started climbing, using the crumbling hand and footholds.
His boots didn't fit into them and he slipped, skittering down.
"Indy!" Marion shouted.
There was a child's scream.
