Along the Red Sea
1947
There was a hissing noise.
Indy's eyes bulged. He grabbed a loose stone and clobbered the snake, smashing it against the side wall. "Emily! I'm coming!"
He threw the serpent's corpse to the side, scrambling past it, pushing the rocky debris from the cave in out of his way.
"EMILY!"
He could hear her on the other side, along with waves rushing in and out. She was screaming and gurgling, trying to respond.
Suddenly there was a shriek, "DADDY!"
Fury roared through Indiana Jones as he rammed the half collapsed rubble wall.
