- 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘯 (𝘵𝘢𝘺𝘭𝘰𝘳'𝘴 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯), 𝘵𝘢𝘺𝘭𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘸𝘪𝘧𝘵

"DID YOU BRING YOUR FATHER'S CLOAK, LIKE I ASKED YOU, HARRY?"

you had met with harry later that night, both accompanying hagrid into the forbidden forest.

"yeah, i brought the cloak. hagrid, where are we going?" harry questions and you nod in agreement.

you wondered, since it was both you and harry, was it maybe something for the tournament?

"you'll see soon enough. but pay attention, this is important"

you glance at hagrid, looking forward before doing a double-take.

hagrid had his hair slicked back and had a flower in his breast pocket.

you beam brightly, cheeks flushing bright.

"what's with the flower?" harry questions.

"hagrid! you combed your hair!" you beam.

"as a matter of fact, i did" he gruffs.

"harry might like to try the same thing now and again"

you laugh and nudge harry with your shoulder, he blushes.

a sudden louder roar echoes from the distance, you blink.

as you both turn to hagrid, he looks away.

" 'agrid?" a voice calls and you pause.

you blink, jaw dropping slightly as a abashed smile comes onto hagrid's face and he suddenly walks towards the voice.

"oh" he turns back to the two of you, "the cloak! put the cloak on!" he hurries.

you crouch, pulling the cloak over both yourself and harry.

"bonsoir, olympe"

your jaw drops even further as the headmistress from beauxbatons reveals herself.

"oh, 'agrid.. i thought perhaps you weren't coming. i thought perhaps.. you had.. forgotten me"

you shake harry slightly, "hagrid has a date!" you whisper shout.

"couldn't forget you, olympe" hagrid says romantically.

harry sticks his tongue out, making a noise of disgust.

you coo, "oh, harry, aren't they sweet?"

"what is it you wanted to show me?" she questions, gentle caressing the flower hagrid bore.

"when we spoke earlier, you sounded so.. exhilarated"

hagrid smiles, "you'll be glad you came. trust me"

he walks away, the three of you now following him.

you both reach some bushes, a loud roar sounding again.

the woman gasps, saying something in french.

you gasp as you could see ahead, there were multiple dragons, all in cages of sorts while the workers wrestled with the flames.

harry gasps too.

"can we get closer?" madam maxine questions, stepping away by herself.

harry pulls the cloak away from both of your heads.

"dragons?" harry questions in shock.

"that's the first task?" you both step up to hagrid.

"you're joking" he says exasperatedly.

"come on, harry. these are seriously misunderstood creatures"

"they're cute... but terrifying!" you shriek slightly.

you all duck as a dragon spits fire in your direction, you whimper.

"although, i have to admit that horntail is a right nasty piece of work"

"poor ron nearly fainted just seeing him, you know"

you tilt your head and harry looked confused.

"ron was here?" he questions.

"oh, sure" hagrid nods, "his brother charlie helped to bring them over from romania. didn't ron tell you that?"

your lips form an 'o'.

harry looked annoyed, shaking his head, "no, he didn't. he didn't tell me a thing"

you put a hand on his shoulder.

hagrid looked slightly offput.
