you look nervously down at the paper, a woman with dark hair and a deranged look on her face grinning right at you.
"dumbledore warned fudge this could happen. he's gonna get us all killed just cause he can't face the truth" hermione clicks her tongue.

you smile slightly at seamus.

you shut your eyes, thinking of your large array of happy memories.
you had so many happy memories that it was honestly hard to pick just one. you finally settled on the christmas you spent with your family and hermione, smiling as you recall each part of the memory.

you raise your wand, "expecto patronum!"
a beaming golden retriever leaps from the end of your wand, immediately bounding around the room, weaving through people's legs as it wagged its tail quickly,
"excellent, [name]! didn't think i'd ever see you in the same vicinity as a dog"
you giggle, "don't be silly, harry. i love dogs, too!"
you watch the young puppy with a bright grin, proud of yourself for conjuring the patronus.
ginny also does hers properly, an elegant horse swaying its mane and cantering about the room.
"just remember, your patronus can only protect you for as long as you stay focused. so focus!"
you beam as ron's also comes out as a dog, running about and knocking people over.
"we're like twins now!" you grin, hugging ron. he shakes his head, "whatever you say, [name]"
you coo as luna's small bunny hops around the room.
but everyone pauses as the crystals on the chandelier jingle and the lights flicker a bit, there was also a sort of rumble. your grin turns into a worried frown. what was happening?
all the patronus run a bit before dissipating, blue mist sucking back into everyone's wands.
everyone steps forward, gripping their wands.
the glass in front of harry starts to crack, everyone else stands back.
the glass shatters and a few hold up their wands. you frown deeply, holding your wand up.
there was a small hole in the bricks behind, harry and the other boy step forward.
you frown.
harry and the boy jump back as the wall explodes, your eyes go wide, gasping slightly.
everyone looks through the now hole in the wall, it was umbridge and her little search team. draco pulls cho into view.
you gasp in worry and sadness. had cho told on you all?
you give her a confused frown. she averts her eyes guiltily.
"get them"
you watch nervously as harry is dragged away, everyone else being sent to the hall to receive mass detention.
things were really going bad.
