"Welcome, sir," the receptionist greeted them warmly as Seungcheol and Jeonghan entered the shop. After enjoying a delicious breakfast, they had finally arrived at the ring shop to purchase couple rings.

Seungcheol nodded in acknowledgment as he approached the receptionist, with Jeonghan still clinging onto his arm.

While Seungcheol engaged in conversation, Jeonghan's attention was captivated by the dazzling display of diamonds and other precious stones in the room. He couldn't help but be drawn towards a collection of rings adorned with delicate diamonds.

"We are here to buy a couple ring," Seungcheol informed the receptionist, glancing over at Jeonghan who seemed lost in the beauty of the rings.

"Certainly, sir. Do you have any specific preferences, or are you open to suggestions?" the lady inquired, leading Seungcheol towards the stock of rings.

"Um... anything will do," Seungcheol replied, unsure of what exactly he was looking for.

"We would like to see the knot rings," Jeonghan interjected, sliding up beside Seungcheol. Seungcheol couldn't help but narrow his eyes in curiosity at Jeonghan's sudden interest in knot rings.

"Knot rings?" Seungcheol questioned, intrigued by Jeonghan's choice.

"Yes," Jeonghan smiled at Seungcheol before turning his attention back to the lady. "Could you show us some options, please?"

The lady swiftly pulled open a drawer and pressed a button, causing the table to split into two, revealing three sets of rings in front of them. Jeonghan's eyes widened with excitement as he took in the sight.

Jeonghan's eyes scanned the array of rings laid out before him, each one gleaming in the soft light of the jewelry store. His fingers twitched with anticipation as he reached out to examine the first set, a simple trio of gold bands. They were elegant, no doubt, but lacked the intricate design he was searching for.

Next, he moved on to a set of silver rings, each one adorned with a delicate diamond. They were beautiful, but not quite what he had in mind.

"This one" Finally, his gaze settled on the third set - a trio of intertwined loops, each one crafted from a different metal. The way they twisted and turned together was mesmerizing, and he knew in an instant that these were the rings he wanted. The rings were simple yet elegantly designed, with the loops intertwining as if symbolizing the union of two souls.

Seungcheol couldn't help but be taken aback by Jeonghan's surprising knowledge and familiarity with rings. The way he handled them with such ease and confidence made Seungcheol wonder if Jeonghan had bought them before, or perhaps had plans to give them to a future partner. The thought of Jeonghan being with someone else sent a pang of bitterness through Seungcheol, a feeling he quickly pushed aside.

"Who could possibly put up with him other than me?" Seungcheol thought to himself, but he quickly scolded himself for letting such thoughts consume him. This was all just a show, a pretense, and he couldn't let it affect him like this.

As Jeonghan called out to him, Seungcheol shook off his inner turmoil and made his way over to the table where the rings were displayed. His eyes fell upon the two pairs of rings, and he couldn't help but be impressed by Jeonghan's choice for the first time. The rings were elegant and tasteful, a reflection of Jeonghan's good taste in accessories and fashion.

"Okay, let's get it," Seungcheol said, his tone firm and decisive as he made the decision to move forward with the purchase

"Okay, let's get it," Seungcheol said, his tone firm and decisive as he made the decision to move forward with the purchase. Despite the useless flirting and banter between them, Seungcheol couldn't deny that Jeonghan had a certain charm and style that he couldn't help but appreciate.

"Pack this please" Seungcheol's voice resonated with a sense of urgency as he tapped his fingers impatiently on the table, urging the lady to pack their belongings. His heart raced as he hurriedly made his way towards the counter to settle the bill. But just as he thought he could catch his breath, Jeonghan's touch sent a jolt through his entire being.

In a swift motion, Jeonghan took hold of Seungcheol's hand, slipping a ring onto his trembling finger. The sight of it left Seungcheol breathless, his heart pounding in his chest. He tried to silence the erratic beats, fearing that Jeonghan might hear the telltale signs of his overwhelming emotions.

Stupid heart! Stop beating so fast, he'll hear you--

"What are you doing?" Seungcheol grumbled, pulling his hand back from Jeonghan's grasp. Jeonghan pouted, but quickly retrieved another ring and handed it to Seungcheol. Confusion etched across Seungcheol's face as he narrowed his eyes at Jeonghan's request.

"What's this for?" Seungcheol questioned, studying the ring in his hand.

"Put this ring on my finger too! Come on," Jeonghan urged, his voice filled with excitement as he pushed the ring towards Seungcheol. Nervousness gripped Seungcheol, causing his hand to clench tightly around the ring.

"You can wear it yourself, Jeonghan," Seungcheol suggested, attempting to hand the ring back to its rightful owner. However, Jeonghan shook his head, refusing the offer.

"No, you put it on. Just like how I did for you," Jeonghan insisted, pointing his fingers towards Seungcheol's hand.

Seungcheol hesitated, his throat dry as he swallowed hard. His hand trembled slightly as he raised it, moving at an agonizingly slow pace towards Jeonghan's outstretched hand. The moment seemed inevitable, an inescapable fate.

That's it, no escape. Now put it on him--

But just as Seungcheol's hand was about to meet Jeonghan's, a voice interrupted their intimate moment. "Sir, here is your bill," the receptionist announced, appearing with the bill and an ATM machine in her hands. Seungcheol turned towards her, momentarily distracted from the intense connection between him and Jeonghan.

Jeonghan clicked his tongue in annoyance, swiftly snatching the ring from Seungcheol's hand and slipping it onto his own finger. He became engrossed in capturing countless pictures of himself with the ring,

Leaving Seungcheol alone with the weight of the bill and the rapid thumping of his heart.
