The Bots have a nice little chat about how good their partnerships have been going with the humans, or, they try to.

"I don't think Optimus understands what we are dealing with right now." Heatwave explains, seeming very tense about the situation. "The humans still think we are very strange machines!"

"Cody referred to us as aliens." Chase points out, which was something that clearly needed to be mentioned.

"Well duh, we aren't from Earth!" Blades says, which was very much going off topic to what Heatwave was talking about. "They've never seen us before, or even heard of us!"

"Wait, doesn't that mean we considered them aliens?" Boulder asks.

"Guys, we are going off course-"

"What even is an alien?" Blades has to question. Now, all of them were trapped inside this questionable logic. "If they would consider us aliens, and we consider them aliens, then who is an alien? What is an alien? Why-"

"Blades," Heatwave goes to place his servos on Blades' shoulder plates. "Relax."

There was a moment of silence of words, the only thing to be heard was that of the intake of air and then the small hissing sound as it was released. Heatwave slowly backed away, hoping to get back to the main focus.

"Sometimes I forget that it exists." Blades point out, not realizing he happened to say it aloud. "What were we talking about again?"

"The humans, well, our partners!" Heatwave says, seemingly quite happy they were back into the correct topic that was going for discussion. "They want nothing to do with us!"

"The Chief and I actually get along pretty well." Chase says, not understanding the whole problem, after all, he has no problems.

"I think it is because he has more experience, apparently, the older they are the wiser they seem." Boulder states. "But then how are we getting along so well with Cody, but not Graham, Dani and Kade?"

"We are minors, Blades!" Heatwave points out. "That is probably why! The other three are what humans call 'young adults' apparently."

"Chase isn't a minor." Blades says, clearly confused what this is applying to now. "He's twenty-five, in human years."

"I am twenty-three human years-"

"You're twenty-three?!" Blades was clearly stunned by this, after all, he was corrected for something he believed in deeply. "Wait, Boulder, how old are you again?"

"In human years, I'm still twenty-two, nearly twenty-three." The bot answers, having to think for a moment if it was correct to what he said, after all, he really needed to double check his math. "Yes."

"Wait, how old am I?"

"Blades, in human years you have just turned twenty-two." Heatwave answers for him. "And I know you are about to ask me how old I am, I am twenty-one human years."

"How can we be certain that we are this old?" Blades asks. "We were in stasis for a long while, we could be forty in human years and we wouldn't know!"

"Stasis keeps us the same age, physically and mentally." Boulder says, which was more than comforting. "So our age seems to be correct to our bodies but not the time."

"You make it sound like we are those strange creatures from the old days of humanity." Chase tells. "What were they called again?"

"It doesn't matter, what matters is that our partners literally want nothing with us and don't want to work with us!" The firefighter was very much hoping that they would stay on topic this time.

All of the sudden, Cody enters into their view, seemingly excited.

"Are you guys ready?"

"Yeah." Boulder knows he lied, cause none of them were ready for it.

Heatwave really knew he would have to bring up the situation at a later point, whenever the bots had their time alone.
