Chase never likes it when it is quiet.
It was strange, but quiet always meant something bad, as it reminds him of the constant treatment he had when he was younger to be 'a proper bot in society' and 'to ensure success was all there was' ordeal.
So in that Lead Mine, just in vehicle mode as he was in meer silence was rather painful. He would've taken the moment to recharge, but the quietness that echoed seemingly shock him to keep him awake.
Although Cheif was lightly snoring and water was streaming quietly, Chase never heard those the entire night, he only noticed the water when he started to feel his tires begin to soak which left him disgusted a bit.
He was extremely happy when he finally was out of that Lead Mine, and when it came time for the bots to recharge themselves, there was some issues since Chase listened to a podcast all night to keep the quiet out, and the others heard it the entire time.
