Boulder hates cameras.
From a young age, he never really liked getting his photo taken. He never really liked having a picture taken of himself for others to see, which is why he avoided it a ton throughout his life. If other bots were in the photo, there was some ease that Boulder had to the picture taking.
He does like taking photos though, and always makes sure to take into account other feelings before the photo is snapped. All of his photos have more than one thing in them, which helps with his own feelings regarding it.
He didn't like it when he was being filmed though, as it was a constant annoyance and bug to him throughout the episode 'Prescott's Bots'. Luckily, he was very much reassured by his friends that he was amazing (both in his actions and physical appearance) in ever single piece of footage that the human got.
