Alternate title: Sigewinne's logic is something else

~

Sigewinne's POV

After asking such a bold question, I got kicked out of the room while the adults were talking without getting a proper answer.

 Mister had looked confused.

 Dad blushed.

And that lady was on the verge of bursting out laughing and gave me a thumbs up.

And... And then asked nicely by Mister to go play with Freminet and the rest.

Well, not that where I am now is bad.

Lyney came and dragged me upstairs seconds after I got thrown out so I guess it might have been planned somehow. Now we were in a room that could only be described as chaos even when compared to my old room.

Excluding Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet, there were about... 20 kids in the room I think. It wasn't a small room by any means, but you get the picture.

I also heard something really shocking as soon as we got upstairs.

"Mom and Dad are fighting again!"

What the heck is that supposed to mean?

Ignoring most of the chaos around, I slipped over to Freminet looking for an answer.

"So, what is this Mom and Dad business?" I asked him.

 Wasn't this an orphanage?

"Ah... That... 'Mom and Dad are fighting' is a code for when Father and Uncle Neuvillette are arguing." He explained.

"Yeah, they do that a lot and someone once pointed out that they look like an old married couple so that's how that came to be." Lyney chimed in.

"Father is what we call the Director." Lynette added.

 Oh...

 Wait.

"So who is Mom and who is Dad?"

I kind of have an idea but...

"Well, naturally Father is Father, so she would be the Dad." Someone from the other side of the room joined in.

"And Uncle Neuvillette has always been more of the motherly type." Another added.

 ...

I wouldn't know what a motherly type is, but he's certainly very different from Dad when it comes to doing things so I suppose they're right.

"Wanna hear a fun fact?" Lyney smirked.

Do I? That smirk makes it seem like a not-so-fun fact.

Well, whatever it was, he started telling me anyway.

"There was a point a few years back when we thought of setting Father up with Uncle Neuvillette. Our logic was that if they got married he would probably be around more." He started.

"We gave up pretty quickly though." Freminet sighed.

"Mr. Dottore bought the idea up as a joke once when he came over and not only did Uncle Neuvillette and Father look absolutely horrified and disgusted, Father even pulled a gun on him." Lyney continued.

"That's when Mr. Dottore got completely banned from coming over." Lynette added.

"Even Aunt Snow looked at Mr. Dottore weirdly when he brought it up." Someone spoke up.
